Great for treating rosacea, I add this zinc to my current sunblock. If you're interested in using zinc but prefer not to make your own sunscreen, this works well with my existing sunblock which already contains 20% zinc. I have used Keys Solar 30 SPF for years, but I always felt it could use more zinc because my face appears too shiny after applying the sunblock alone; I have acne rosacea, so zinc helps significantly with the redness, and this product has never caused breakouts. I mix a pump of Keys with a dab of zinc on my hand until smooth. It’s never gritty or chalky. While the measurement isn’t perfect, it effectively reduces the extra shine, allowing my rosacea to benefit from the non-coated zinc. I finish with a bit of glow, setting it with finishing powder.
