these bandages are terrific for wound care. We got the 3x3 gentle border dressing, it has a soft pad, a little stretch to it so it can be pulled snug, the all around border adheres very well, but when you are ready to change the bandage it won't take the skin when pulling it off. They are a little pricey but worth it considering how well they work and feel when applied
Read More...This is great stuff. I use it to cover the pressure ulcers on my wife's ankles. It can be used with wound coatings, such as Santyl, or without any other treatments. It is easy to tell when the "bandaid" has to be replaced, because you can see the extent of exudate absorption through its outer plastic, transparent layer. The Allevyn patch can be covered with a secondary dressing, such as roll gauze or an ace bandage, but neither is required. My only complaint, resulting in the loss of the 5th star, is that the adhesive comes lose if the surrounding skin gets moist, requiring manual resealing by pressing around the edges

Doesn't remove skin and they literally don't hurt at all to remove. The pad is thick and absorbent - no leaking. Now, if they could just lower the price for consumer use
