Pinitol may reduce allergy symptoms
D-Pinitol Attenuated Ovalbumin-induced Allergic Rhinitis in Experimental Mice via Balancing Th1/Th2 Response.

We evaluated how D-Pinitol affects allergic rhinitis (AR) in a controlled study using mice.
By sensitizing BALB/c mice with ovalbumin (OVA), we created an AR model. After giving treatment groups various doses of pinitol or montelukast, we found that higher doses of pinitol significantly reduced symptoms like sneezing and nasal discharge.
Notably, it also balanced specific immune responses typically seen in allergies. However, montelukast showed clearer results in some areas, indicating that while pinitol is promising, more research is necessary.

Switched products
I had an allergy immediately after starting this product. I've heard that Solgar vitamins are synthetic, which could be the reason. Since then, I've switched to more natural alternatives.
