MRgFUS success with scarred patients
We explored a method to enhance the treatment of symptomatic uterine fibroids in patients with abdominal scars using Magnetic Resonance Imaging Guided Focused Ultrasound Surgery (MRgFUS).

By utilizing paramagnetic iron oxide particles to visualize scars on MR images, we successfully navigated treatment while avoiding complications.

Out of 25 treated women, there were no adverse events, and a remarkable 92% experienced clinical improvement after six months.

This technique not only aids treatment but also opens doors for women who have previously been excluded due to scarring.

We evaluated whether iron treatment prior to hysterectomy could reduce the need for blood transfusions in patients with anemia caused by uterine fibroids. Our study included 134 individuals with fibroid sizes averaging 4 cm.

Although only 21 patients received iron, those who did showed a promising trend toward less reliance on transfusions after surgery, particularly when fibroid sizes were smaller than 5 cm. However, the overall results suggest that while iron may help, larger fibroids are still a key factor influencing transfusion needs.

My acquaintance with the Solgar brand began with this product. An analysis revealed iron deficiency anaemia due to fibroids. The doctor prescribed a Russian medication, but after hearing horror stories of constipation and ineffectiveness, I hesitated. Then I discovered a review of this dietary supplement and decided to try it. Within two weeks, my haemoglobin increased by 20 units! My health improved, my skin became fresher, and hair loss decreased. I subsequently ordered more Solgar supplements and recommended this brand to my friends.

Wonderful! This is the best form for iron absorption! I constantly experience low haemoglobin levels due to large uterine fibroids. After trying many options, this one has proven to be the best for me! It rapidly increases my haemoglobin levels. I take it in the morning alongside Vitamin C from Natural Factors!

This iron supplement was very gentle on my body. I took it for a year while experiencing significant bleeding from uterine fibroids. For Japanese women, one tablet daily provides sufficient iron. I am relieved that I did not suffer stomach pain or constipation, which are often associated with iron supplements. The symptoms from my uterine fibroids were severe, so I cannot recall all the specifics.

I was diagnosed with anaemia before a blood transfusion and began taking this supplement. After being treated for anaemia during pregnancy, I found that iron preparations caused constipation and stomach pain. Consulting my doctor, I opted for supplements instead. My symptoms improved by the third month, as my anaemia was caused by uterine fibroids. I plan to continue using this supplement until menopause. It has relieved my stiff shoulders and sudden drowsiness, and I am truly grateful for this product. I take just one tablet daily, which I find to be excellent value for money.
