The jacket - the bomb! These 250 white tablets are easy to bite if held in the mouth for a bit. The chalky taste is tolerable. During winter, I took them daily with vitamin C Ester Xi 500 mg. I didn't catch a single cold, nor did the flu affect us, even with children bringing infections from school. Occasionally, I take 1 tablet more quickly. Before bath time, I combine 2 tablets with Magnesium and vitamin C to enhance metabolism and detox. I recommend this to anyone keen on boosting their immunity!

Excellent zinc! I first bought it in June 2021 when I fell ill with Covid. I purchased it from a local pharmacy, which was pricier than iHerb. After just three days of taking it alongside vitamin C, I felt noticeably better; my hair loss, which had started before Covid, ceased, and facial rashes reduced. I found it gentle on my stomach. In July, my mother caught a viral infection and started taking the same zinc with vitamin C, reporting similar improvements in her condition, with lessened ARVI symptoms and a quicker recovery. I've now ordered Zinc 250 Tablets from iHerb.

Cold resistance
Solgar chelated zinc is excellent! The 250 white tablets are easy to bite if held in the mouth for a moment, and they have a chalky texture. I took them all winter with vitamin C Ester C 500 mg and noticed no colds at all. The flu did not affect us either, despite children occasionally bringing home infections from school. Occasionally I take 1 tablet more quickly. Before my bath, I take 2 tablets with Magnesium and Vitamin C to enhance metabolism and remove toxins. I recommend it to anyone who prioritises their immunity.

Dosage guidance

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, my family has been taking Solgar chelated zinc as per our doctor's prescription, especially during cold and bacterial illness seasons. Typically, we use it for just up to 7-10 days during acute periods. According to medical literature, children can be given 7 mg of zinc 2-3 times a day for respiratory diseases. Older students may take 1 tablet daily, while adults with bronchitis typically require higher dosages. It also benefits nails and hair health. The tablets are bland in taste.

I don’t take it regularly, only when a cold or respiratory infection hits—dosing 2x or 4x during the first five days. I believe this speeds up recovery significantly.

Helpful supplement
A very good daily supplement for our family of three. When there's an infection, we take more to aid in a quicker recovery.
