Excellent! Christel van Gaul mentions that evening primrose oil is the sole source of the rare gamma-linolenic acid. This plant is valued globally: when combined with alpha acids, it can swiftly help one recover from a cold, infections, and even skin rashes. Many experts advocate for its use in preventative measures due to its excellent anti-inflammatory properties, which aid in regulating bodily functions at the cellular level. Gol highlights that primrose oil is particularly effective against skin imperfections, as its anti-inflammatory effect swiftly tackles blackheads without leaving scars—paramount for maintaining aesthetics.

Unexpected side effects

I did not find it suitable. I bought evening primrose oil for beauty, not for treatment, as my female health was fine. I was tempted by reviews about its effects on skin and hair. After taking it for 35 days, I noticed my skin felt more hydrated. However, I experienced discomfort during my period, lasting 9 days, which hadn't happened before. I suspect the cold weather transition may have contributed. After a second painful cycle, I stopped taking them, as they seemed to alter my hormone levels adversely. Be cautious; I wouldn't advise this oil without a doctor’s guidance.
