Iron deficiency anemia linked to headaches
We explored whether iron deficiency anemia is connected to chronic daily headaches in a group of 100 patients compared to an equal number of controls.

The study revealed a significant link between iron deficiency anemia and chronic daily headaches. Interestingly, those with severe anemia experienced more intense headache symptoms.

While other iron-related factors were associated with headaches, the type and duration of headaches did not seem to vary significantly among patients.

This iron Solgar was recommended by my doctor, and I found it to be high quality and effective, as my tests demonstrated. I felt energised and my headache and fatigue improved significantly after starting a course of 30-60 mg daily, taken every other day for optimal absorption.

This made me very ill; after taking it for four days, it dropped my blood pressure so low that I could barely stand. I also experienced headaches, diarrhoea, body pains, dehydration, and fever. I advise against it unless approved by a doctor.

This is one of the best forms of iron for me as traditional options caused significant side effects like stomach pain and headaches. I found that taking chelated iron alongside vitamin C works well—my ferritin levels improved, and I experienced no adverse effects.

I bought this iron while having a very low ferritin level. After taking 90 capsules, my ferritin increased. I previously had headaches and fatigue when I took iron without vitamins. Now, with vitamin C and B12, I feel energetic and ordered a second can, which is cheaper here.

This was my first experience with an iron supplement (25 mg), and I'm unsure if it's a side effect or my body adjusting, but I got a headache after taking it, so I stopped using it.
