Gray spots on VM-75 tablets

These grey spots are present in all the tablets in this container. The container was properly sealed when it was delivered. I wrote to Solgar directly and to SportingDoc asking if these spots were normal, or if I should not take the tablets. They both wrote back once saying that they were going to look into it, and never wrote back again. I sent several emails after this, and never got an answer. Conclusion: I have a container full of tablets that don't look ok to consume, and neither the manufacturer nor the seller gave a proper solution to the client. I wasted my money

Best and Most Pure Supplements on the Market.

Like all Solgar products, this iron-free multi-vitamin is top quality. The tablet is large, but no larger than any other tablets or capsules that Solgar makes. That said, I will say that I have a lot of trouble swallowing pills, but the enteric coating on the Solgar products makes it so much easier to swallow than the cheaper brands of vitamins. I chose an iron free formula because my doctor has me on iron supplements already, due to anemia, and at age 70, one must be careful not to take too much iron. She looked these over, though she needn't have, and said they were more than just adequate. From my long "dance" with vitamin and mineral deficiencies, I know that Solgar brands are truly the best. They are gluten free, wheat free, yeast and sugar free as well as dairy free. Also, important to me, they are kosher which means that I am getting a product of very high quality that does not tolerate the "filth" content that the USDA tolerates because of the kosher rules (kashrut). They come in a glass container as do all Solgar products, so I know there is nothing plastic leeching into the vitamins. I wouldn't take anything else but Solgar for all these reasons. When I was in the hospital, the pharmacists had to okay some of the supplements I was taking by doing a qualitative and quantitative analysis on them; they said these were "designer" supplements of the highest quality, and approved them for me to take while in the hospital. Solgar is simply the best

Gives me energy!

I have taken these Solgar vitamins for over 30 years. I have arthritis, and was always tired, which I thought was from fighting the pain all the time. To my surprise, when I started taking this formula, which is chock-full of various vitamin Bs, I started having hours more of energy! Years later I continue to take it, and can always tell after a couple of days if I've run out of them because I feel sort of listless. I had trouble finding a larger bottle of these in Pittsburgh, so I looked on Amazon and found them at an acceptable price, and now I don't have to drive all over town looking for them. Yes, they smell bad; that's the vitamin B. I can live with it, and the orange urine the first time I visit the bathroom after I take them. Oh, and you might want to avoid taking them near bedtime; my chiropractor advised me that high doses of vitamin B before bed can cause nightmares. I take my vitamins in the morning with breakfast, so that's not an issue for me

MAYBE I'M WRONG… BUT THIS SOLGAR PILL IS TOO BIG & TOO STRONG.

I like most SOLGAR supplements, but when I take their IRON-FREE MULTIPLE VITAMINS every day, the rush of energy feels like it might be raising the blood pressure. Everyone's metabolism is different, so you need to adjust the dosage to suit your own particular needs. Also, I don't like the slimy feel of the yellow-orange coloring stuff when it gets wet; and it might contribute to the unpleasant odor of the pill and the discolored urine. So I searched online and found another iron-free multi vitamin on Amazon. It has a full 5-star rating by satisfied customers, and it's made by an established company. The amazing price is only $14.50 for 120 capsules. They recommend taking 2 daily, but for me, one should be perfect. I'm going to try it, and will report the result. Never get sick again!!!!!!!!!

People! If u take nothing else in the world, take Solgar VM-75! My husband has been on them and has not been sick in 26 years! I have been on them for 10 yrs, I am a teacher, around sick kids, I have not been sick in 10 yrs! We do not even need or get a flu shot. Solgar has the most perfect ratio of vitamins that the body ABSORBS more efficiently than any other. Nothing compares to Solgar. STOP going to the doctor! Take these and never get sick agai

45 Years taking VM-75 and it's still the BEST multi out there!

I have been using Solgar's VM-75 vitamins since 1972, first with the iron and now, that I am older, the iron-free formula. I have occasionally tried other brands (even Solgar's VM-2000) but they don't make me feel as good or kill my stomach--I always come back to my cherished VM-75. At 63 and the oldest of 5, I am the healthiest, have the youngest skin, and just seem to feel better than the rest of my siblings. I am also the only one who has consistently taken a daily multi vitamin (VM-75) for the past 45 years! I also take Omega 3s, Cranberry, and D3, in other brands--usually from Sam's. But will never change my daily multi from the VM-75 Iron-Free! I was told in '72 that it was the best and it still is! I honestly can say that as far as I'm concerned, the quality, smell (love it), taste (they have never upset my ever increasing sensitive stomach), and formula hasn't changed in 45 years. Neither has the gorgeous label and jar--save them and repurpose! The ABSOLUTE BEST multi vitamin out there and Amazon has the best prices

Still a great source of daily nutrients

Taking it for over twenty years, would give it five stars if the manufacturer hadn't changed the yellow coating to something that leaves a really disagreeable aftertaste. Still a great source of daily nutrients

Good brand

My top choice brand for supplements is Solgar. I had to send this particular formula back because it was a bit too strong for my system. All the other formulas are from Solgar and I can handle the dose. This formula would be OK for someone with regular digestive tracts but I only have half of colon which makes me extra sensitive to strong doses of anything. I normally buy tablets so I can break them in half and I did just that but this formula was still strong for my stomach so I returned it. I am not giving it the lowest star rating due to my colon issues because for other regular population, this formula maybe perfect

Horrible products should be banned

This product contains titanium dioxide.. my child is adhd and autistic, he has been uncontrollable since taking these . Please note that this horrid chemical is banned in Europe. Do the research and see why.

Have been taking these vitamins for years and love them. No 'vitamin tummy' and no iron aftereffects (if you know what I mean). I take one per day and that seems to fit the bill. Note: take them AFTER you eat in the morning and not before. However, follow your medical professional/nutritionist advice in that regard
