I love these veggie caps and use them to add l-lysine powder to my cat's dry food. Cats need lysine to control runny eyes and boost their immune system from herpes virus. Solgar brand is the best and cheaper than cat-specific Elysel brand. Best dose is 250mg up to 1,000 mg daily. 250 is the maintenance dose and 1,000 is for flare ups. I add 1 veggie cap to 1/2 cup dry anytime I put out their dry food dish. It works extremely well

Great to take if your battling recurring shingles ! This is why I take it ! You have shingles take this but talk to a licensed wholistic doctor to recommend the dosage but this has helped my recurring shingles to stop happening! only when I get really stressed I might have a small breakout and too learn what not to eat !! Certain foods activates shingles in the body as well !!! I found out this the hard way

Cures hormonal acne!

This is the first time I've been absolutely amazed by a supplement. It's not necessarily this brand in particular, but I'd been struggling with hormonal acne for the past 2 years, and this has pretty much cured it. I used to get 1-2 cystic pimples on my chin every couple weeks no matter how careful I was to avoid dairy, sugar, etc., and that finally stopped when I started taking this. I got the 500 mg size because I have trouble swallowing large pills, and just taking it once a day seems to do the trick

These are fantastic! They come in a clear easy to swallow capsule, unlike the big bulky hard vitamins that you see in the stores! The packaging was in perfect condition. I like the fact that they come in a glass container as well. First off: from my personal experience this helps prevent my cold sores! I have not had one in about 9 months since taking these! Second: they have helped my skin feel so fresh and youthful! Although, I have noticed a bit of oil build up on my skin since taking these, no biggie! Just means I have to exfoliate more. Third: these are pretty tasteless! Probably the best LLysine vitamins I have actually ever purchased that ever helped me

Helps with canker sores and dry cuticles

Bought this stuff to help my 8 year old who struggles with painful canker sores. It helped immensely-the pill is a little large for him to swallow but we open the capsule and sprinkle it in yogurt when he feels a sore developing. Really happy to have found this for him. I started taking it too after reading it helps with collagen production, hoping it would help prevent wrinkles. I haven't noticed much in that department, but my normally painful, dry, peeling cuticles are miraculously smooth and healthy! I've tried all sorts of lotions and creams, but this works better than anything I've tried. Making this a part of my daily supplement routine

This product really works well. My skin is dry and flakes and I noticed an improvement right away after taking it. Great alternative to taking a prescription medication to fight off cold sores. Been taking L-Lysine for over a year and have only had one flare up. Highly recommend this product to anyone who faces the challenges of cold sores

Great for nerves.

I use this to calm my nerves and it is amazing. I take one in the morning if I know I have a stressful day ahead of me. I think it works better than my B vitamins. If it has been a long stress-filled day and I didn't take anything already, I take two of these and sleep like a baby
