Fish oil reduces catheter-related clots
We analyzed the effects of fish oil lipid emulsion on the prevention of deep vein thrombosis in children with intestinal failure.

In this study, we compared 35 pediatric patients receiving a soy oil lipid emulsion with 35 who received fish oil.

Remarkably, none of the children in the fish oil group experienced blood clots, whereas the soy oil group had ten cases. This suggests that fish oil lipid emulsion may significantly reduce the risk of clots associated with central venous catheters.

Omega-3 reduces clot risk post-surgery
We explored the impact of omega-3 fatty acids on blood clot risks in elderly patients recovering from proximal femoral fractures after surgery. In a randomized, double-blind study involving 452 participants, those who received daily supplementation of 1000 mg of omega-3 for 30 days experienced significant reductions in pulmonary embolism and symptomatic deep vein thrombosis compared to those on a placebo. Importantly, these benefits came without an increased risk of bleeding complications.

We investigated the impact of FJH-KO, a source of omega-3 fatty acids from Antarctic krill, on thrombosis in a mouse model. By inducing thrombosis using carrageenan, we treated the mice with FJH-KO beforehand.

The results showed that FJH-KO reduced thrombus formation and prolonged bleeding time. It also lowered levels of substances associated with clotting while boosting protective factors. Additionally, in human cells, FJH-KO inhibited the adhesion of immune cells, suggesting its potential as an antithrombotic agent.

Why choose Solgar? Not all Omega-3 and fish oil are beneficial! I recommend avoiding cheap products, as they could do more harm than good. A natural and high-quality product is essential, free of impurities like mercury. The capsules are large yet easy to digest. The suggested dosage is two capsules daily, but I take one without experiencing side effects. I've seen significant improvements in my appearance: my hair is healthier, my skin smoother, and my energy levels have risen. However, those with low blood coagulation should be cautious, as high doses can lead to bleeding. Omega should be taken in cycles to avoid liver strain.

I have been taking Omega-3s for over a year now, and I find Solgar’s price on Eicherb is much lower than local stores. Solgar offers a reputable product with a high potency of fatty acids in each capsule. Omega is crucial for numerous bodily functions, including improving mental performance and supporting skin and blood vessels. I take two capsules daily after meals. I noticed improvements in hair elasticity, reduced nail breaking, and healthier skin. Additionally, my PMS symptoms diminished, and my menstrual cycle became more regular. This product offers great results, and I highly recommend it!

Omega-3 has beneficial properties: it reduces the likelihood of blood clots in blood vessels and arteries, lowers cholesterol levels, and helps restore damaged vessel walls. It also positively affects brain function, aids in vitamin dissolution and inflammation removal, and supports the immune system.

We investigated how docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and its derivatives affect platelet activity and blood clotting. Our findings revealed that DHA, along with its oxidized forms, effectively reduced platelet aggregation and activation, particularly in mouse models.

Although DHA showed some benefits, the most significant effects on blood clots came from its oxylipins, specifically 11-HDHA and 14-HDHA. These compounds appeared to inhibit platelet adhesion and thrombus formation through a specific signaling pathway, enhancing the potential for DHA as a treatment for clot-related cardiovascular issues.

Omega-3s reduce blood clot risk
We examined how fish oil, rich in omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), impacts blood clotting in individuals at moderate risk for cardiovascular diseases. In a controlled study with 40 participants, we discovered that fish oil supplementation led to significant changes in circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs), which are linked to clotting processes.

Notably, the fish oil reduced the coagulatory activity of these EVs, suggesting a protective effect against thrombus formation. This finding opens up new avenues for preventing blood clots and managing cardiovascular health.

This is the finest Omega-3 complex available! I took it on my doctor's advice to lower "bad" cholesterol levels. My triglycerides fell significantly, as did my LDL and total cholesterol. I can confidently recommend this product for anyone wanting to normalise their blood counts. However, it's essential to combine Omega-3 with a healthy lifestyle for best results.

Blood pressure improvement
6 people found this helpful
The perfect omega! I have type 1 diabetes and some issues with blood pressure. I began taking omega supplements after realising diabetes had negatively impacted my blood vessels over the past 11 years. After two months on this omega (two in the morning and sometimes one in the evening), I discontinued my blood pressure medication entirely, relying solely on the omega. The results pleased me greatly, despite the cost. While I had suffered from dry, peeling skin, this problem vanished without me even noticing. I had previously tried other omegas, including those from Solgar, but they did not provide the same benefits. Now, I only take this omega.

Blood tests normalised

I highly recommend this omega. The endocrinologist advised it because I had thick blood. After 1.5 months of taking it, my tests returned to normal. Solgar is the best brand in my opinion; it's pricey but of high quality.

An excellent dietary supplement! This is not my first purchase of Omega-3, and I am very satisfied. Taking just one capsule daily is convenient, and lab tests show that my blood viscosity has decreased. I will definitely order again from this manufacturer.

Heart relief

This is the best Omega-3! After taking two capsules a day for two weeks, I felt significantly better. I experienced heaviness near my heart that radiated to my hand, yet after starting the Omega, relief was clear. My blood had thickened, but now it foams during tests.

My mother enjoys measuring her blood sugar with her fingers. After taking this product, she noticed that the blood drawn is no longer as thick as it once was; she used to press her finger harder for blood flow, but now it flows out smoothly on the blood sugar test strips.

Since I started taking this Omega, my blood pressure has normalised. I no longer experience sudden heartbeats, which I previously had due to high blood pressure. It's a fantastic product!

This is the best omega for me! I constantly take it with coenzyme Q10 under my cardiologist's guidance. It has resolved my arrhythmia and high blood pressure issues. Additionally, I noticed improved skin and hair growth.

Triglycerides reduction

Highly recommended for managing triglycerides! A recent health check revealed elevated triglyceride levels, prompting me to purchase this product for three months, resulting in significantly lowered levels. I enjoyed it so much I returned for more. While it is priced comparably to other omega-3s, I believe it’s worth it. I knew omega-3 could enhance blood circulation, but the noticeable change surprised me. I also improved my diet and maintained my exercise routine. I intend to keep taking this in the future, especially for those with hyperlipidemia.

This Omega-3 fish oil is a worthwhile option at a mid-range price. Solgar offers higher concentrations of EPA. The brand is reputable, and the product is tested for safety against mercury and PCBs. While it can take time to feel the effects, after a few weeks I noticed an elevation in mood and cognitive function. However, be careful if you're on blood pressure medications as Omega may interact with them.

We investigated the link between omega-3 fatty acids and blood clot markers in patients with atrial fibrillation. By analyzing data from over 2,370 participants, we found that higher levels of total omega-3s were connected to lower levels of D-dimer and beta-thromboglobulin, both indicators of activated coagulation and platelet activity.

This suggests that omega-3s may help reduce blood clot risks. However, while some individual fatty acids showed varied effects, the overall trend points to the potential antithrombotic benefits of these healthy fats.
