Omega-3s enhance sleep quality
We investigated how omega-3 fatty acids, specifically DHA and EPA, affect sleep quality in adults aged 45 and older. Our study involved 66 healthy participants and employed a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled design for 12 weeks.

Participants in the DHA/EPA group showed significant improvements in sleep quality metrics, including less frequent dreaming and better sleep efficiency compared to those taking a placebo. This is notable as it provides new insights about the beneficial effects of omega-3s on sleep in an older demographic.

We explored the relationship between omega-3 fatty acid docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and the severity of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in 350 patients. Our findings revealed that higher levels of DHA in red blood cells were associated with a lower likelihood of severe OSA.

Specifically, those with increased DHA levels were about 50% less likely to fall into the severe OSA category. This suggests that DHA might play a role in the severity of sleep apnea, opening doors for deeper research into DHA supplementation as a potential treatment option.

Excellent Omega-3 functions. As a newcomer to the IHERB site, I made my first purchases on the advice of my endocrinologist. In local pharmacies, this product is twice as expensive and often unavailable. I was advised to take one Omega-3 capsule daily alongside Vitamin D3, starting with a dose of 10,000 units, and then reducing to 5,000 units after four months. The Omega capsules are quite large and can be challenging to swallow. However, after nearly three months of taking this supplement and vitamins, I've noticed a boost in energy, improved sleep, enhanced mood, stronger nails, and better skin tone. Stay healthy and happy =)))

The best of the best! I've been taking this Omega-3 from Solgar for four months. The results are astounding! Just one capsule a day provides a burst of energy and I no longer feel tired. My mood has greatly improved, and I’m dreaming peacefully. Finally, I get enough sleep! My digestion is normal and my blood pressure has stabilised. My skin is moist, with no more dryness or cracks. My libido has improved too—my husband is happy! I highly recommend this product.

Better sleep for mum
This Omega is a classic! I’ve been ordering Omega from Solgar for ages (for myself, my husband, and parents). This variation suits us all well, with no complaints. Our skin and hair are in good condition, plus it effectively boosts our immune system during colds. My father’s joint pain has vanished, and my mother, who had light sleep, now sleeps much better. Surprisingly effective! I didn’t particularly choose this brand but went with Solgar as I often see it in pharmacies. My diagnoses include issues that prevent the use of typical medication. Two months into using this Omega, I found my PMS symptoms diminished significantly, allowing me to sleep better at night. This unexpected positive effect has enhanced my quality of life considerably. I am keenly awaiting other products from this brand.
