It does not encourage the formation of kidney stones, which can occur with vitamin C ascorbate (I can confirm this as I have regular ultrasound scans and take vitamin C daily). This is a quality vitamin with an appropriate dosage for daily use. I take one each day, increasing to two during cold season. I've noticed an improvement in my facial skin, with small rashes disappearing.
