Magnesium supplementation aids prevention
We explored how magnesium treatment impacts indigestion and metabolic disturbances in cows, comparing two herds with issues to a control group. Our observations showed that while the method of applying magnesium powder on pastures was ineffective, supplementing with magnesium oxide in feed was quite beneficial. Administering 50 grams per cow per day for 14 days before grazing effectively prevented hypomagnesemia. However, signs of metabolic issues and alkaline indigestion were still more pronounced in troubled herds compared to the control, indicating the challenges that persist despite treatment.

Gradual intake advised
The initial intake of this magnesium requires some adjustment. I recommend starting slowly; perhaps begin with only one-sixth of the dosage and gradually increase to the full dosage over a few weeks. This is my fourth order, and I have found that malic acid effectively alleviates my indigestion.

Effective magnesium use

Malat is my choice! This magnesium is more effective than others for feelings of tiredness, irritation, and stress, alongside issues like indigestion and constipation. I've taken it at various times, even being prescribed up to two doses a day, then once daily. This has significantly improved my body's capacity to endure stressful and painful conditions.

Not suitable for everyone
I pursued this magnesium for quite some time, believing it to be one of the most absorbable types. Unfortunately, the results did not live up to my expectations. While the dosage can be tolerated, this magnesium has a laxative effect and triggered my indigestion. I was disappointed. My husband, however, who has no gastrointestinal issues, has experienced no side effects with this product, highlighting how individual responses can vary.
