I purchased this to replace a Master Massage table in my practice. I see roughly 20 clients per week for massage therapy. This arrived quickly, was reasonably priced, and securely packaged. I set it up easily in my office this morning and saw four clients on it today. Unfortunately, it is creaking, right out of the box. Read More...I ordered this table and was hoping that the quality would be good. It did not disappoint. It is sturdy, and lightweight, as that is important since I have to take it to appointments. I've laid on it during meditations so that I can test the comfort, and it is comfortable. I am thiniking of getting a fleece cover, and that will only add to the comfort. Also , set up is a breeze, as it just opens up, and you stand it upright, and done ! I had to adjust the height when I first received it, so now I keep it set and never need to adjust it . I love the color. I would definately reccommend this item
Read More...This table is a great value! Very sturdy and we'll made, except the face cradle, which is not firm enough. It is also on the narrow side, so my biggest clients weren't comfortable until I got arm extension pieces from a friend. Overall, definitely worth it if the table is for school (like me) or home use, but I will be upgrading when I can afford to. Still will continue with this brand though
Read More...This was a huge step up from our Sierra Comfort massage table we had previously purchased on Amazon. This Stronglite model is so much lighter and more sturdy, with thicker foam, making it extremely comfortable to lay on. The included bolster is a nice touch, but nothing special. I really like the headrest, and how sturdy it is, because the one on our other table was very flimsy, falling if you let the whole weight of your head rest on it. But not this one! Huge step up in every way
Read More...I am in the middle of learning level 2 Usui Reiki. It was time to bite the bullet and buy a table of my own for practice. I was practicing on a family member who is 280 pounds... it didn't squeak, shift, crack, or show any sign of strain. Very sturdy and incredibly comfortable. I've done a few self attunements on it and my 3 year old tried to nap on it the other day, that's how comfortable it is :). Very good quality and extremely light weight. I was concerned by how heavy the box was but once I took it out, it was super light. I can carry with one hand no problem. I have yet to test the durability of the storage/travel bag... but it looks really heavy duty. Plus the logo is embroidered which to me is the sign of high quality. I didn't know this when I bought it but Stronglite is another division of Earthlite. I was deciding between this one and a more expensive Earthlite table. I figured that once I'm actually ready to be a full practitioner (and not a student) I might upgrade. As it stands now, I don't know if I will need to. This table is GREAT. I bought the set that came with sheets. The sheets it came with are Earthlite and really good quality. I will be purchasing another set. The headrest is really comfortable and fully adjustable. My only complaint is that the bolster it comes with is a little small for me. But I'm not taking off any stars for it because, liking a larger bolster is a personal preference. This one is standard size. Most spas/LMT's have a few sizes available depending on the client. I will just buy a larger one. I'm extremely happy
Read More...I am really impressed with the quality of this table. It was extremely easy to set up and very lightweight. The padding is very comfortable and the height when first opened is perfect for my exercises. I cannot lay on the hard floor or yoga mat and this table is a great solution. I can also use it for massages in my home. I will love having my own table and not being on a portable one from so many other users. I am glad I spent the extra money instead of going with the cheaper model. It fits perfectly at the foot of my bed and will eventually fit in my exercise room with my treadmill and bike (and it's a small room). Glad I didn't go with the 84" one, 73 is just right for my 5'6" height. The table is also sturdy and doesn't creak or move, even with 250 lbs. I highly recommend it
Read More...I bought this for my husband and I to give each other massages. I get professional massages all the time at a few diiferent places near me ranging from a walk in place to a full service salon and all I can say is why don't they get on of these tables instead? It is so much more confortable in the neck area and the head attachment has a lot of padding and really has a variety of adjustable positions so the massure can get at the neck better. I had an ADCF 2 years ago in have 3 levels of my neck replaced with titanium and this is the only table that allows a proper position for the back of your neck to be staright for optimal relief
Read More...Needed to replace my massage table. This seemed like a good option. Great table. Good price. Seemed sturdy, and comfortable. The chemical off gassing was horrible. Even after airing it out for two days, did no good. I went to call the company about this, and found the packing slip had a warning. I would think a company in this industry would be more cautious about the material they use. Amazon needs to put this warning on the description for those sensitive to chemicals. Also the sheets did not come in the order. Sorry I had to send this back. Looking for a table with eco friendly material
Read More...This STRONGLITE portable massage table is a great value. I am comparing this with the other massage tables I purchased for $500. While I am not a professional massage therapist, I have received so many massages that local massage schools often have their students do their final exams (massages) on lucky me so I have been on hundreds if not thousands of massage tables. This table is equal in quality in strength, lightness, workmanship, and functionality as the highest priced ones. The cushion on the adjustable face cradle is more like a cloud than any other I've used. The foam, pleather, and clasps are a step down from the $500 tables but considering the price savings, I would chose this one as the higher quality ones are not worth even half of the price difference increase. The bolster is odd being a smaller size more like what you would use under your neck and not under your knees; I would recommend purchasing the STRONGLITE portable massage table package that includes the face cradle carrying bag but not the bolster. The carrying bag is just as good and durable and easy to use as any other I've seen or used. This is not only a great choice for home use but also for professional massage therapists
