So most people who take supplements have zero idea whether they are working or not. But as a menstruating, breastfeeding mother, I have a way of discerning the quality of my calcium supplements. When you're breastfeeding, and you get your period back postpartum, halfway thru your cycle, your milk supply can drop dramatically. I take calcium to prevent this happening. Wal-mart was recently out of my usual calcium supplement (Spring Valley), so I purchased this one instead. Well, low and behold, halfway thru my cycle, no milk for poor baby. I had to quickly run to the store for a different supplement, which fixed the problem immediately.
Either there's not as much calcium in this pill as the label says, or it's not bioavailable. Either way, I take Vitamin D with the calcium to enhance absorption, and it helped zero percent with this product.
*This review will not list as a verified purchase, because, weirdly, on my orders page, it says that the shipment is still pending. (I received it last month.
