I love that there are no additives in this Vitamin E oil-some value brands have some crazy, yucky, and downright scary stuff in there. Not the case with this oil-it's totally pure! This is the least expensive for highest I.U. Vit E oil I could find anywhere that didn't have freaky sh*t in it. I use this vitamin E oil in many of my D.I.Y. beauty products such as lotions, body butters, and face wash. A cool fact about Vit E oil for the D.I.Y. product maker-it is a natural preservative. So not only does it add many health/beauty benefits to your skincare, it can actually help keep your products from spoiling for longer. I think that's a win-win! I also have been using this oil directly (undiluted) on a keloid surgical scar for about 6 months and it has noticeably faded and has become less raised and purple. Keep in mind that a little goes a really long way. I am very happy with this product! I base many of my purchases on Amazon after reading other buyer's reviews and I always try to take the time to leave thoughtful, honest reviews about the products I receive on Amazon. I used this to treat the dryness after a Heat Rash & prevent scarring.

Story time! Whenever it's over 100 degrees my skin starts to boil. Not news to anyone right? Everyone cooks in 100 degree weather. Well i work outside for 6-8 hours a day sometimes 16 days in a row no days off. So i got a Heat Rash on the back of my hands, insides of my elbows and (a week later) on my face. I puffed up like a balloon needless to say I was hideous! So incase you don't know a heat rash occurs when your sweat glands are blocked so i couldn't use anything to bring down the "swelling" except aloe and patients. it only took an hour to get it but in a few days it would be gone nothing else worked. But after the heat rash went away i had a dry rash my skin was dry only on the spots where the rash was it peeled several layers of skin off at once so i bled very easily and it itched like crazy. No lotion or creams worked and I was sure it would scar. Ohh and i was still hideous. So my mom suggested Vitamin E oil. i picked this brand because the reviews were less drastic than the other products offered (some of the other ones they either loved it or hated it no in between) When i used it i was surprised to find out that it was very thick. The exact consistency of honey! But don't worry heat from rubbing helps it spread, I found it's better to place a dot directly from the bottle to the area you want it and then rubbing it in. putting it in your hand and rubbing your hands together like lotion is impossible because of how thick even a small drop is. for your face put drops on your finger tips then dab it on your face before rubbing in. I have been TRYING to remember to use this every day but as my skin cleared i got lazy but it's been a month and a half and my hand looks almost how it used to look is smooth to the touch just a lighter and/or darker shade than the rest of my skin. i only used it at night because it does feel like it clogs my pores and i want my skin to breath while i'm outside. but using it once a day doesn't seem to limit what it can do. i wouldn't advise anyone to use if they still have a heat rash i tried using it while my face was still puffy but it didn't help at all. Of course i'm not a doctor and this is my personal experience I'd tell you to consult your doctor but i didn't so why should i pretend to be responsible? But i do recommend this product and brand! (I tried to put the photos as before and after but we'll see if the upload that way.

Scars almost gone!

Many people are saying this is not 100% pure vitamin e oil. I personally am not sure if it is or not. All I know is I was using other vitamin e oil for scars and seen no improvement what so ever. The other brand I was using had other ingredients than just vitamin e on the label. After using this brand of vitamin e oil for just a week my scars that I have had for years are almost gone!!! I will never buy another brand again. This oil is thick and sticky but after about 10-15 minutes it is absorbed and no longer sticky. Love this stuff

Works miracles!

I have the type of skin that scars very easily (olive skin/light eye color...bad combo for scarring). Ended up with a booboo that I thought would leave a scar for months...maybe a year. Bought this Vitamin E Oil in an attempt to shorten the scar's lifespan. Guess what? No scar at all. As soon as the booboo healed, I put this oil on at least 3 times a day for 2 weeks and no scar ever developed. My skin looks as if it was never damaged. I have a 4-year-old (hence "booboo") and I'll be using this on all of her booboos to keep her beautiful skin perfectly scar-free. Can't say enough good things about this Vitamin E Oil. I think 70,000 IU is the key

Makes my skin look gorgeous!

I was using Nature's Bounty vitamin E oil, until one review noted that their product is a mix of oils, not pure Vitamin E. So I did some research and found this instead. I really like it, but you might not. Pros: good price point pure product, no mixtures makes my skin look gorgeous no breakouts, no acne a little goes a long way. I only use 1-2 drops at most. Cons: sticky thick like syrup - I can only put this on before bed, or an hour before makeup. It's thick

Worked for my purposes!

After reading a pinterest pin on elongating and darkening eyelashes and eyebrows, I decided to try it myself. I bought this particular vitamin E oil and Tropic Isle Living Jamaican Black Castor Oil, as the pin also required castor oil. I've never purchased either but figured they had pretty good reviews. After mixing them up in correct quantaties, I began to apply the oils and sure enough within 2 weeks of use my eyelashes were so full I didn't even need mascara. I've read it has many other uses but I've only experimented with the one above

Ate through the lid making quite a mess

When this arrived, the inside of the padded envelope and outside of the bottle was covered with a sticky goo. I thought maybe the lid was not on tightly. Once or twice I added a few drops of this to some baby oil to apply after showers in the dry desert air where I live. It was difficult to get it into the bottle. This product made little balls or bubbles in the baby oil so I had to shake the baby oil well to disperse the vitamin E before applying. I let the bottle of Vitamin E untouched in a cabinet for about 6 months after that and one day found a sticky gooey mess running down the wall below the cabinet and onto the floor. This product was laying on its side and had soften, dissolved the plastic lid enough so that it had almost entirely leaked out. Had to use many many paper towels and a lot of alcohol on them to remove this from all the surfaces it had covered. Now coming here to leave a review, I read a review that the product is synthetic, not natural. Not sure what you would use this for other than to dissolve some plastics. Buy the more expensive, truly natural vitamin E products on amazon.com instead of this one

Great quality product

Sundown Vitamin E Oil 70,000 IU has been working out great on my nails and heels, and it's only been a few days. It's very thick and clear, and has no fragrance. It smooths on and gets absorbed into the skin after it's massaged. This product will last for a long while since it's so thick. I read that vitamin E oil it's good for stretch marks, so I'm planning to rub it on my belly. I'm 7 months pregnant and as the belly expands, I would like to avoid the stretch marks. I can't wait to keep on trying the oil in all the problem areas. It has so many different uses including moisturizing dry skin like dry and cracked heels, helping with scars, and stretch marks, as well as helping hair growth on eyebrows. This I would like to try. And I'll add on to my review after I continue using it for a while

Sticky, But Effective.

My doctor told me to try using Vitamin E to help my acne scars heal up less noticeably. I went for this product which appears to have a much higher concentration than any of the other cosmetically-marketed vitamin E products out there by the advertised units (idk what these units actually mean, but 70,000 IU > 30,000 IU amirite). It arrived unopened and exactly as in the picture. It has a squeezable base with a tiny stopper with a hole in it at the end so you can easily control how much comes out. The product is the consistency of a sticky, cold molasses that is literally impossible to spread in an even coat on your skin. Luckily I only need it for spot treatment, and in that regard it works marvelously by not budging from the spot where it has been applied. I am also using adapalene gel (over the counter vitamin A) for my acne scars and I couldn't decide which product should be applied first! I've found that the two products mix together into a paste on the fingertips very easily, which I'll then spread on the problem areas. It is difficult to spread a moisturizer over these areas because your face will just be so damn tacky. I found that wetting my fingertips and making my face slight damp before applying my moisturizer (Belif "The True Cream" Moisturizing balm for dry skin) makes it go on much more smoothly. On day one of use I IMMEDIATELY noticed a dramatic drop in inflammation. On day two I noticed that my skin was beginning to HEAL much faster than before. Angry scabs became less sore and would not bleed or reopen. I'm about a week into treatment now, and have also added a dermaroller into my routine. Scars that I've had on my cheeks and chin for YEARS have been fading at an unprecedented rate- better than adapalene gel alone, better than daily exfoliation with Aveeno's daily brightening scrub alone, and better than daily glycolic acid face wipes alone. I discontinued all acids and exfoliating products when I started using the dermaroller and could not be happier with the results. I guess my skin was just hungry

Amazing! Amazing ! Amazing !

Honest to God I never really thought that this product will work because it's very cheap . But it did!!! it to really did!!. I'm so very happy with this product I'm going to buy more definitely . I'm having problems with acne and acne scars .and when I used it the scars have faded significantly then before. And even it lightened the dark areas . First I used it once a day, and when I noticed the result I start using it twice a day once in the morning and once at night . The only thing that I didn't like is how sticky it feels but I continued to use it and I will keep on using it
