The Benefits of Milk thistle, Hot flashes Treatment
Medical research on the efficacy of Milk thistle in preventing or alleviating Hot flashes is limited and inconclusive. Milk thistle, also known as Silybum marianum, is a flowering herb that has been traditionally used for its potential medicinal properties, particularly in liver disorders. Some studies have explored its use in managing menopausal symptoms, including Hot flashes which are experienced by many women during this stage of life.
While Milk thistle contains compounds that possess anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, there is currently insufficient evidence to support its effectiveness in preventing or helping with Hot flashes specifically. A review of several studies published in the Journal of Mid-Life Health in 2014 concluded that more rigorous research is required to evaluate the clinical benefits of Milk thistle for menopausal symptoms.
