Heart burn!!! My search continues.
I don't have much to write about this product as of yet, considering that I've only been taking these supplements for less than a week now. However, I have noticed the slightly fishy burps after taking 2000mg in one dosage--but, I have been able to counter this affect by taking the tablets with some orange juice (making the burps less fishy or non fishy). I also noticed when I take 1000mg dosages, there are no fishy burps whatsoever. So with that given, if one doesn't want to experience the burping, you may want to space the 1000mg dosage out by hours (perhaps take 1000mg in the am and the other dose early (pm) evening). So far I'm happy with this fish oil considering there has been no negative interaction with my Hypertension medication. Oh, for those controlling their Hypertension with meds, you may want to consider taking only 1000mg instead of the recommened 2000mg daily, because fish oil combined with hbp meds could potentially drop your bp to dangerously low levels. Side note: I've only talking 2000mg of fish oil on days that I have forgotten to take my bp meds. Would have given these 5 stars but I had these less than a week. ***UPDATE*** I've since stopped taking these fish oil supplements due to the side effects of really bad heart burn/acid reflux. I even tried freezing the supplements and took them frozen but that still did not stop the heart burn or make it less noticeable. If the heart burn was bearable, I would have continued taking this fish oil. However, the heart burn would strike me only during meal time, which made eating very uncomfortable and painful. Since I've discontinued use, the heart burn has stopped completely
