Even though this is good for my health–I continue drinking it
This tea was originally recommended by a naturopath/nutritionist, and the reasons are lost in the mists of time. It was undoubtedly because this would be good for my health, and I'm all for that. But long after I've forgotten what part of my health it's supposed to support, I continue drinking Traditional Medicinals Organic Nettle Leaf Tea because I really like it. I love tea, especially black tea. But the tannins can wreak havoc on an empty stomach, and if it's close to bedtime, the caffeine of regular tea is not kind. So I'll have some of this brew (and sometimes I'll steep some peppermint with it), and I find it satisfies that jones for tea, it's soothing, and it's delicious. As for my health, I used to get some malady every few months--cold, flu, Bronchitis. I think it's been over a year since a respiratory plague of any sort has taken hold. I don't know if the nettle leaf tea has anything to do with it or not. It certainly hasn't hurt. I love things that are bad for me--junk food, brandy, binge-watching Game of Thrones--but Traditional Medicinals Organic Nettle Leaf Tea is such an almost-guilty pleasure, I keep drinking it despite all of its positive qualities
