Unexpected Benefit. I purchased this for my diabetic dog to help with her itching and allergies. What I didn't expect is that it lowered her sugar! After several "low sugar" scares, my vet and I realised the Omega 3s were actually improving her diabetes. She went from 27 units to 20 of insulin after about 4 weeks of Omega use. Who knew??
