Excellent moisturizer, even for really dry or chapped skin. Totally non-greasy, absorbs quickly. Compared to the original udder cream, which had sort of a butter texture, this one is a lighter texture, like whipped cream. I go barefoot a lot, resulting in hobbit feet that get dry and cracked... I slather this cream on the bottoms of my feet, then pull on cotton socks overnight... makes a big difference! Cheaper by the 6-pack: 1 for the car, 1 next to the bed, 1 in the bathroom for garden hands, 1 for my mom... you get the idea. It's just that good

A perfect solution for a dry and wrinkled face.

This was the best purchase I made for my health and self esteem in 2019. There were some reviews saying NOT to use it on my face; however, I ignored them. For three weeks I applied to my face, around my eyes, on my nose. Basically, when no one was home I coated my face. My wrinkles went away, blemishes decreased, some tiny white heads and black heads disappeared. Lastly, there are so many TV ads for creams, etc that I've always been avoiding because of the cost. I'm glad I did, this cream is amazing and cost effective

A great product!

I am thrilled that I finally found this product! I have been a faithful user of Pacquins Hand Cream for 40 years. When it was discontinued, I was extremely disappointed -- I used to keep a jar in the kitchen and all bathrooms for my dry skin. I have spent lots of money trying to find a product that closely duplicated the properties that I loved in Pacquins and Udderly Smooth Udder/Hand Cream does the trick! It has the consistency of Pacquins. IS NOT GREASY!!!!! And, it lasts a long time! I use it on my hands, elbows, knees, and feet. I have just recently bought more so I can put them in the kitchen and all bathrooms. This is a real price performer! I originally bought the Fragrance Free because I was a little worried about the smell (after all, it was originally made for cows udders) but I went ahead and bought more with fragrance. Can't rate the product with fragrance because I haven't received it yet but I think it will be just fine

Didn't live up to the advance press

My skin is near-reptilian in dryness, so I've made a study of many different moisturizers on the market. "Udder Cream" wasn't bad, but neither was it the answer to my problems. If you are sensitive to scented lotions this is probably not for you. The product description claims a "light fresh fragrance" and indeed the fragrance is light compared to many of the in-your-face scented products on the market. Just don't get lulled into thinking there is no scent. It's there and is the primary reason I will not purchase this product again. It is a decent moisturizer. I used it primarily as a hand creme and it performed well enough though it didn't have the staying power as some other dedicated hand cremes I've used. Overall, though, there are better choices. I can think of numerous hand cremes that are truly unscented and hold up better over time -- Handshield, Aveeno hand cream, Eucerin and Cetaphil to name a few. For general body use, I'd recommend the above-mentioned brands along with the other dry skin standbys like Aquaphor. Finally, I couldn't help but be suspicious of the labeling. The product is labeled for veterinary use. I understand that is ostensibly the original use, and it's cute and all, but one wonders why it's so important to market a misbranded cosmetic. Not a bad choice if you don't mind the scent and are amused by the gimmick. Otherwise, there are lot of other options out there that may work better for you

My Opinion

I have used MANY different lotions, butters, and creams over the years. Based on the reviews of this cream I was sure that I would love it, unfortunately, I was wrong, I dont like it. In my opinion, it is very watery, much more like a lotion than a cream. I was looking for something very moisturizing and thick like a typical cream, but this was very disappointing. I have to massage it into my skin for much longer than usual just to get it to absorb a bit because its so watery and thin. Then it still doesnt feel like its doing anything for my skin, theres no real benefit to using it, no long term moisturizing effects. I understand what another review meant saying it kind of sits on top of the skin, as soon as I shower or wash my hands, that's it, it doesn't absorb in and moisturized my skin like other lotions & creams do. I wish I had tried a smaller container from walmart before I just jumped into buying 6 containers. Also, I recieved the package with one of the containers broken and leaking cream all over the other ones. I wish I could return them but I think its been too long. I tried to use it for a while to give a fair review, the price is very attractive but I would much rather spend a little more money on a CREAM that I actually really like and will benefit my skin long term. Obviously, many other people feel differently about this cream, so I would just suggest that you try it before you buy 6 of them or only buy one so you know if you really like this stuff, its not for everybody. I prefer a cream like Cetaphil by a landslide, I love that stuff & now I see a justification for the higher price tag but I don't mind paying it all all Cetaphil is great. I don't like giving bad reviews & I'm not trying to bad mouth this company just want others to be sure before you go and buy 6, like I said, its just not for everybody

Not sure of the difference between udder cream and hand cream…

The picture presented at the time of ordering says the jar contains udder cream. The jars that we received says that they contain hand cream. Not sure if there is a difference between the two but I was surprised to get something different than what I ordered. We decided to keep the product but will be more careful when ordering again

Great lotion. Poor packaging

Udderly Smooth is our favorite lotion. We use it daily from head to toe. LOVE IT! It's always risky when you get these jars through Amazon. The first batch we ordered had one jar with a broken lid. Not much spillage I was able to fix it. Lotion was ok. This shipment was packaged with hand soap and heartburn tablets. It arrived with a lid off one jar and another jar had the bottom broken out. Needless to say, about half the contents were out of each jar. Luckily we had a couple jars around the house that were about half gone. We scooped up as much as we could to fill those and stuffed the one with the lid off full to the brim. All in all we probably lost about 1/4 jar Thankfully the cellophane packaging was in tact so the mess was contained. Now don't assume that we will no longer purchase this product. As I said, Udderly Smooth is our favorite and we will always use it if we can get it. The closest store where we can buy it is 42 miles, so Amazon is a blessing to us. I would recommend a couple things. Secure the lids with tape so they won't come off and bubble wrap the six pack to reduce breakage during transport. Thanks for making a great product easily available

Formula has changed

I've used this product for years, but the formula has changed on my last order. More than once I have forgotten that it's more of a liquid now, I opened it not so carefully & spilled it all over. I'm used to it being a cream. Either the packaging or the formula needs to change. I try to remember to hold it straight when I open & use it because it spills very easily. I still like the product, but it's awkward to use now

Good for dry skin, leaves a thin film of rubbery texture

When I first started using this product, I thought it was wonderful. I think it's great for really really dry skin that needs that extra boost of moisture and protection. However. I began to realize that it leaves a thin film on the skin every time you use it, and it makes your skin feel a little plastic-y. Kind of like when you use a cheap bar soap and it leaves that thin rubbery feeling texture on your skin. But I think if your skin is very dry and you need a thick cream that gives your skin that thin rubbery protective film, this lotion is good for your needs

Read the label!!

Ok i read the reviews here after having bought a small tube of Udderly Smooth Udder Cream at the dollar store and was so impressed I wanted more. I read the reviews here which the majority of which refer to UDDER cream. This is BODY cream not the udder cream i purchased at the store!! (I even skipped over the name of the product). While its a great cream it is NOT the udder cream i wanted. I'm sure i'll find a use for this granted but when reading all the reviews which refer to Udder cream it is confusing. The list of ingredients is different and this cream is far too heavy for the face : / Read carefully. Don't get confused like i did :
