Valm Silicone Based Personal Lubricant

Just became my favorite lube. The bottle pump is icing on the cake.

I've tried a lot of lubes looking for nirvana, and have left reviews of several. Usually, I compare them to my former favorite (Wet Platinum) silicone lube, but they have always come up short. I really thought that Lush Silicone based lube would do the same, but I really like this lube better. If you are not familiar with silicone based lubes, they stay slippery for much longer than water based lubes, and they don't have to be reapplied because they have dried out. Silicone will also stay slippery in water as well, so let your imagination explore those possibilities. Usually, they don't get sticky, but a couple of them have. This lube is a little thicker viscosity than my old favorite, and it did not get sticky - the best of both worlds. My wife and I really liked it. Tasteless, with no scent, it is perfect for everything except toy play with toys also made of silicone. That is the case with all silicone based products. Use water based lube with those. I've never found a better lube than this one; it works as well, or better, than anything I have tried. Lush is a winner. Where it really stands out, is the bottle and pump. It really is note-worthy. I've experienced all kinds of spills, drips and mishaps with other silicone lubes. You don't need to use very much of it, andit was always difficult to not get too much. I even had one bottle completely empty out while being stored. What a mess! Also, usually the bottle is covered in lube and hard to hold on to. Not with the Lush bottle, it has a locking pump top that works really well. I can get just the amount I need with one or two pumps, and then you can slightly twist the pump top to lock it. SO CONVENIENT. My only suggestion would be that Lush create a non slip bottle, but then silicone makes ANYTHING slippery, so watch out and don't spill it on your floor. So, if you're disappointed with water based lubes (and honestly, if you aren't, I don't know if I'd believe you'd ever tried one) you have got to give this a try. I do think using this in conjunction with a water based lube might be worth a try as another reviewer mentioned... A little goes a long way. What I couldn't completely wash away with a quick rinse seemed to just moisturize, but didn't leave me feeling sticky and gross. It's latex safe, so forget what they said in sex ed about just using water based lubricants. I think the pump is a great idea, and keeps accidental spills from happening, and omg, I can't imagine spilling a bunch of this and needing to clean it up, but I also don't want to live without it, so thanks for the bottle design. An Amazing Formula at a Great Value in a LEAK PROOF BOTTLE!!!!

This VALM lube (formerly known as Lush, a name I kinda preferred) has a special place in my heart... not because it is amazingly slick and long lasting, or because it is virtually odorless and tasteless too, nor is it because it can be bought here at a relative bargain in comparison to other competing lubes (here on Amazon, and even more so relative to book stores, adult stores, etc.). In fact, by the ounce it is one of the least expensive silicone lubes. The fact that this lube bottle DOESN'T LEAK... that just rocks my world!!! Through travel by air, on foot, and by car... I haven't suffered a single leak, and I've gone through a few bottles. Let me be clear, this is a fine lube for a number of reasons, but there are many fine lubes out there. This is the one that won't leak in your bag, or on your furniture, or anywhere else it doesn't belong. That is something that needs to be shouted from the rooftops!! Lube up with confidence -- this product has got your back

Hands down the best synthetic lube and I've tried several.

I've used several lubes both water based and synthetic over the years. Water based are all but useless in my experience as they dry out/absorb quickly, need to be reapplied and soon result in a thick sticky gunky mess. Synthetic is the way to go and I have tried several others including JO and Gun Oil. While the others were good and I used them for years I recently decided to look around and see what else was out there. The reviews on Lush got me to give it a try and I am glad I did, and now that we are through about half the bottle I feel comfortable enough to give my recommendation. The pump bottle is very convenient and works well even with some on your hands but also prevents runs, drips and spills which is a problem with regular squeeze bottles. The consistency is just awesome. Lush is an apt name for this lube because it manages to be just as slick as any other synthetic lube I have found but at the same time it has a different texture to it that can best be described as creamy. The viscosity is somewhere between a liquid and a gel and it spreads smoothly without running and dripping all over the place. All that and it still lasts as long as any other synthetic lube I have found, which is to say nearly forever. I have found no noticeable taste which is good because I have yet to find a “flavored” lube that was anything short of gross. Clean up with soap and water is pretty easy but even with the lube all gone from the surface you will still feel some residual slickness for hours. Slick but not creepy slick if that makes any sense. Even the wife who is pretty shy about commenting on these types of things agrees that it is hands down the best lube we have ever found

just buy it!

my boyfriend and I love this lube! the past few times we've used it both of us immediately comment on how much we like it when we're done lol! it's very very soft and not sticky at all. even when it's left on my hands i'm okay with it because it's so soft and not goopy or sticky at all. it's just smoooooth. it lasts the entire time, and we only need to use one or two pumps. it compliments my natural moisture, so it feels very natural overall. it does not have a taste which is a big plus for me! the bottle is also huuuuge, and considering one or two pumps usually does it for us i know this bottle is gonna last us a long time, so the price is great. plus, the bottle is so sleek and unassuming looking no one will question it on your nightstand :) we love it so so much more than other lubes we've used in the past. both of us highly recommend it

Probably the best lubricant I've used so far

Let's cut to the chase and avoid any euphemisms and acknowledge we know what this is being used for. Pushing that aside I have nothing but compliments for the lubricant itself; it lasts longer than most others, it requires little in quantity to become lubricated and no reactions from prolonged use. This stuff is great for what you want to do with it assuming you are ready to clean up the mess. As for the bad news, the bottle seems to be somewhat defective as the top spot has been the source of a major leakage from the bottle; I lost about a fifth of the contents of the bottle into the cap when the bottle titled over and upon taking the cap off the lubricant went everywhere. Onto me, the floor, the chair, my desk, my clothes, everything was covered and it was very frustrating to clean up (water is not good enough; you need a surfactant or copious amounts of IPA and an absorbing pad). Ever since then, the spout has been finicky and often I find it slick despite leaving it standing up. Besides the fact that the spout has given me problems, which admittedly could have been an anomalous defect, and the stuff is incredibly hard to clean up, I have nothing but praise for this product

Every bit as good as Pjur or Eros at a fraction of the price.

I've used EROS Super Concentrated Bodyglide - 250ml (and more recently Pjur Original Silicone Personal Lubricant 8.5 Fl Oz ) for well over a decade and love those products, but the price has become prohibitive. I recently decided to try something else and settled on this product, Lush Personal Lubricant Silicone Based Sex Lube 8.5oz . I've now been using it long enough to feel comfortable giving it a solid recommendation. Lush is every bit as good as Eros or Pjur and the price is sane. The Lush bottle also includes a pump which I rather like. For those of you who aren't familiar with these products, here's the summary: A sexual lubricant should moisturize, it should prevent irritation and it should be slippery. Furthermore, once applied it should stay slippery. Traditional water-based sexual lubricants (like ASTROGLIDE LUB 4OZ (Pack of 3) ) aren't all that slippery to begin with, but they really fail because they disappear so quickly. Silicone-based lubricants aren't all that water soluble so even in a wet environment they adhere to your skin and stay slippery. The downside is that they don't entirely wash off immediately, but my partner and I have never experienced any ill effects. I recommend these silicone-based lubricants heartily

The best silicone lubricant I have used…EVER!!!

What an incredible product!!!!!!!!!Trust me, I have tried many, many, many, many personal lubricants I was a little wary at first when I saw the price of the Lush Silicone Lubricant because: #1- It is SO much product for the price Ihave paid triple the amount for a quarter of the product. Sadly, some of those products were a waste of money. But Lush far exceeded my expectations. I am beyond pleased with the product. #2- It is soooooooo silky smooth. It is literally like liquid silk. I am of Filipino decent so I have very sensitive skin, especially in the private areas. So I have been burned, literally by other lubricants but can I just say, "WOW!!!!!!" this is, by far, hands down the BEST lube I have ever used! This is my new favorite lube!!!! I cannot express how delicate and lucious it feels. And you only need one or two pumps from it's convenient pump bottle (which locks) to keep you gliding to exctasy. There is no scent, it does not leave you sticky or tacky like other supposed "silicone" lubricants. I am usually not a reviewer unless the product is horrible. I am leaving this review because review and not just a 5 star rating because I base my purchases on other customer reviews and recommendations. So go ahead and read the other reviews but trust this "lube snob", you need not look any further. If you are looking for a Silicone personal lubricant, Lush is absolutely De-LUSH-ous. Of course, with it being silicone based, it does stay on your clothing or sheets, but that's the price one pays for sublime intimate pleasure. I hope this helps with your decision. Oh yeah, one last thing, I DID NOT receive this product for free or at a discounted price for my review. This is my 100% objective and unbiased opinion

We like it better than EROS, which says a lot!

We have been using EROS lube for years and was our absolute favorite. But, it's crosstown to the nearest place I can buy it over the counter, it's not Amazon Prime eligible, takes at least a week to ship and is significantly more expensive than this Lush. So, with our supply of EROS running dangerously short, I decided to try Lush as a replacement. It's fantastic! It has that same silky smooth wetness that we treasure and it's hard to describe, but it seems to "stay in place" better than EROS, which seemed to get everywhere although not unpleasantly. The pump is also a great feature helping to keep the lube from getting all over everything, as silicone lubes tend to do, and it helps to dispense just the right amount for whatever you have in mind, e.g., one pump for this, two pumps for that, etc. The only improvement I can think of is making the bottle so you can see when you're running low, although having same day Prime pretty much solves that problem

By far the best lube i've ever used

By far the best lube i've ever used. My boyfriend really enjoys it too. We've tried a few other silicone lubes, including Wet brand, and he agrees that this one feels so much better. Contrary to other reviews, i find that this lube feels really slick without any stickiness, and washes right off with soap and water. I also haven't had any problems with staining. The bottle is huge also and will last you a good while. I recommend this product HIGHLY!!! ;
