Versatile
OBSERVATIONS: - The quality is excellent. (I wouldn't expect anything else from Vera Bradley, but just to confirm, lol.) The quilted seams are all perfect, no loose threads. The fabric is soft but sturdy cotton, the zippers are solid and glide open and shut easily, the inside material shows attention to detail, and the overall construction feels like it's going to last a long time. Definitely a quality piece. - The bottom section has a hard bottom: whatever you put in there won't get squished, whether it's the containers that come with the organizer or something else entirely. I feel like I can throw it in my purse or bag and not worry about it opening up or getting crushed. - Colors are brighter than/not as muted as pictured online (especially the reddish-coral, which really pops), but I enjoy the color combination. - It is definitely larger than usual for a pill organizer, especially the large bottles (which would fit an entire bottle of medication!), but I think that gives the opportunity to use it for other things. It's not too bulky to be practical, especially if it's multi-talking. Since the size doesn't make sense for just medications (unless you're going on an extended trip, maybe?), I was debating between using this as a first aid kit or sewing kit (mine is currently in a small bag in a pocket of my purse), and then realized I could do both, using the top for first aid and the bottom containers for pills and sewing supplies. It definitely has a good bit of room for everything I wanted to put in - including full-size tubes of hydrocortisone cream, etc. I am really loving that everything finally has a home and that it's all together! I really wanted to find a good use for the cylinders, but the lids pop off (they don't screw on), which makes them inadvisable for liquids or creams or anything that's going to make a mess. In the end, I took them out and am using them for thumbtacks and small things in my desk area. (Sidenote: they also fit a full set of polyhedral dice! :D
