FALSE LABELLING! Also Not Effective AT ALL! BUYER BEWARE!
Tasty Gummies, ZERO EFFECT! Potentially nothing in them! I sincerely hope this review gets attention from the company and from potential buyers. Based on my experience and the false labeling I would wager there's nothing in these. I don't care about getting a refund, I want 3rd party validated tests on this product. As well as some response from Amazon regarding what is obviously false marketing. Just as a reference point, I've used at least 20 different brands of Melatonin at this point. I've used it for over 7 years now every night. I know when something is and isn't working. I work in the natural health industry myself and use a wide variety of supplements as well! I decided to try this out based on the reviews. Sugar free Gummies sound like a yummy way to consume Melatonin right? All I can say is after my experience, these reviews MUST be FAKE or there's a placebo effect going on here. Besides my experience which I'll explain below. I have a hard time understanding how there are 12.5 GRAMS worth of herbs packed into a 2 gummy serving x 50 servings = 625 GRAMS of herbal powder, lets not include the weight of the gummies themselves. That means a bottle weighs over a pound BEFORE you add in the weight of the gelatin and sweetener? So the total weight is what a kg? I couldn't find the weight of the bottle anywhere and I had already eaten a majority of them before I thought to weigh it (I snack on them, they are tasty! I'm chewing on one as I write this very sentence and I don't plan to sleep for another 7 hours). The bottle could not have weighed more than 350 grams though, probably closer to 250-300 grams. None of this makes sense. HERBAL WEIGHT BREAKDOWN: Just to clarify 4.25 GRAMS of passion flower is a bit heavier than taking 8 x 500mg capsules! Chamomile same story, almost as much claimed for lemon balm. Ok so lets just round that out. We're looking at around 24 x 500mg CAPSULES worth of powder crammed into TWO TINY GUMMIES!!! This is just a flat out lie! How are these guys in business? For them to come around and say whoops, just add a mg on there, it's just a typo, our mistake would NOT be acceptable. People buy this thinking there's an absurd amount of herbs crammed in here, besides a lot of melatonin which I'm convinced is ALSO not present. --- My Experience DAY 1: First night I tried it, was the first time I've had difficulty sleeping in a while. I took another melatonin I had on hand and in 15 min I was out. DAY 2: Tried it again, again nothing. I had my GF try it as well that night. Also nada. We both tried one of my other melatonin's on hand and we were both out like a light. DAY 3: Tried again. Same story, this time I decided to take them 2 HOURS BEFORE BED as well I made sure to chew them slowly and hold in my mouth for at least ten minutes before swallowing. I didn't feel even slightly fatigued. I waited until an hour in bed to take something else to help me sleep. DAY 4: I tried taking them before a nap, didn't help at all. I tried taking them that night again several hours before bed and again at bed. I took about 10 that night. No effect whatsoever! DAY 5: I now just chew them in the evening but now knowing there's zero effect I make sure I take another melatonin supplement so I actually fall asleep. My GF and I now eat them as a snack throughout the day, it's THAT ineffective. I'm convinced there's nothing in these. I would go so far to say that someone needs to test and verify this stuff. The label is incorrect in terms of amounts. The weight listed on the SUPPLEMENT FACTS panel is heavier than the actual bottle, I'm only talking about the herbs it contains! To the owners, the lack of attention to your label already speaks volumes. You can't tell me that both my GF and I can take 3mg of a normal melatonin and feel sleepy in 30 minutes, but can take 10 of your gummies, which should be 50mg of melatonin and still FEEL NOTHING
