We evaluated how effective sorbitol enemas, alongside other treatments, are for children experiencing constipation. In a randomised controlled trial involving 77 children aged 1 to 17 in Iceland, the study compared the results of free fatty acid suppositories and Klyx docusate sodium enemas.
While children receiving higher doses of the suppositories experienced improved bowel emptying and symptom relief, sorbitol enemas were found to be comparably effective. With successful outcomes noted, this could be promising news for seeking less invasive treatments for childhood constipation.

Simple solution for constipation

These are superb! I’m in a wheelchair and don't move much, which contributes to constipation and hemorrhoids. This product was recommended by my NP at the gastroenterologist's office and has been an easy solution to a difficult problem. I chew two in the morning and two in the afternoon, as advised, since I don't eat much. It’s a great product, available on Amazon in my area.

My bowel issues were cured the very first night. Following a massive course of antibiotics six years ago, I experienced morning diarrhoea daily. Despite various treatments, nothing worked until a gastroenterologist recommended more soluble fibre. This was the missing component in my diet. Literally overnight, my six-year problem was resolved. I now take three of these every night before bed.

Easy to add fibre, sugar-free, and perfect for constipation and hemorrhoids. Honestly, I'm in a wheelchair, partially paralysed and older, which leads to little movement, resulting in constipation and hemorrhoids. If you suffer from these issues, this product is ideal. It was recommended to me by the nurse practitioner at my gastroenterologist's office and has provided a simple solution to a challenging problem. On her advice, I take 2 gummies in the morning and 2 in the afternoon as I don’t eat much. Excellent product, only available on Amazon in my vicinity.

Sorbitol works! I purchased this for its soluble fibre content, but the sorbitol rapidity is astonishing! After weeks of constipation and abdominal fullness, this product worked wonders, unlike Miralax. Although the fruity smell is strong, the gummies are palatable. After just one gummy, I had a smooth stool and consistent relief has followed. It’s wonderful to feel great again, and I’ll continue daily!
