Promotes weight loss
My husband has lost pounds simply by replacing sugar with this in his coffee. It's beneficial for dental health and helps combat candidiasis. I recommend it, but be cautious as it may cause diarrhoea in some; this might depend on dosage or individual sensitivity. It's wise to start slowly and observe how your body reacts.

Suppresses Candidiasis
5 people found this helpful
Xylitol is a natural sugar substitute derived from plants, almost as sweet as sugar, with a glycemic index of 7 compared to sugar's 70. It contains 40% fewer calories than sugar and has minimal impact on blood sugar and insulin levels. Unlike sugar, it inhibits the growth of pathogenic bacteria in the mouth and reduces the risk of tooth decay. Importantly, xylitol helps suppress the development of candidiasis in the oral cavity. It does not contribute to diseases linked to sugar consumption, such as diabetes or cardiovascular issues. I find it tastes nearly identical to sugar, and it can substitute sugar in various recipes without altering the flavour.

Healthy prebiotic
This xylitol is much healthier than sugar and ideal while candidiasis is present, acting as a healthy prebiotic. It also promotes dental health by reducing plaque.

Sweetener in diet
Excellent product! The only sweetener permitted in the anti-candidiasis protocol, albeit in very limited amounts. One scoop of xylitol closely matches the sweetness of one scoop of white sugar without any strange tastes, and I am very pleased with it.
