Surasak Saokaew (B.Pharm., Pharm.D., Ph.D., B.PHCP., F.A.C.P., F.C.P.A.) is an Associate Professor at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Phayao, Thailand. He earned his bachelor in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2003 and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in 2005 from Naresuan University and PhD in Clinical Epidemiology in 2014 from Chiang Mai University, Thailand. His research interests were epidemiology, outcomes research, health service research, health policy, pharmacogenetic and pharmacovigilance. He is known for his research expertise in meta-analysis and cost-effectiveness of pharmaceutical interventions. Currently, he is Director of Center of Health Outcomes Research and Therapeutic Safety (cohorts), and Dean of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Phayao. The center is focusing on the research which providing the evidence for policy making, community empowerment, and patient care.
