Ahmed Alalaiwe is an associate professor in the Pharmaceutics department and the dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, Alkharj, Saudi Arabia. He is a licensed consultant pharmacist. He earned his Ph.D. at the Pharmaceutics Department, College of Pharmacy, the University of Florida in July 2015. He is a member of many committees at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University. He is, also a chair of the Bioequivalence Studies committee in SFDA. Moreover, he is a member of the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University's Consultancy Board. He is, basically, interested in the pharmacokinetics studies of therapeutic nano-metals. Distinctly, he concentrates on manipulating their physicochemical properties such as particle size, shape, surface chemistry for attempting an 'ideal' oral nano-pharmaceutical carrier models. Recently, gold and copper nanoparticles are the trend of his research.
