Francesco Liguori obtained a MSc degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology and then a PhD in Life Sciences (Genetics) at Sapienza University of Rome. He is currently working at Cellular Neurobiology Unit at IRCCS Fondazione Santa Lucia in Rome, exploring new neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration pathways in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) taking advantage of different ALS Drosophila melanogaster models.
