Joanna Wietrzyk is a Professor in biological sciences at the Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy, Polish Academy of Sciences. She obtained her DVM from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Academy in Wroclaw, Poland. She completed her PhD in biology with a specialization in cancers biology and later achieved habilitation and professorship in the field of experimental oncology. Her research interests include cancer, metastasis, vitamin D, calcitriol, and anticancer agents. Joanna has published extensively in these areas and has a strong background in experimental oncology.
