Mohamed R. Khalife is a neuroscience researcher currently working at the University of Delaware/Nemours Children's Hospital. He started his journey in neuroscience research during his undergraduate studies at the Lebanese American University, focusing on stress, depression, and memory pathways. Mohamed pursued a Master's degree at the University of Vermont, where he investigated the effect of nicotine on resilience to depression. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D., studying the cognitive comorbidities of epilepsy and the mechanisms behind cognitive improvement in mice with early life seizures. Mohamed has presented his research at various conferences and has several publications in the field of neuroscience.
