A GIFT FROM HEAVEN!!!!!

I don't even know where to start. I work construction and my boss has to get a porta John specifically for me because I'm always in pain, bloated and have several disappointing, emergency movements throughout the day. Yeah the flavor is nice, it mixes easily, blah blah blah. If this costed my left leg, I wouldn't bat an eye. The second day of using it, it began to work. And work it did. I have lost 10 lbs of excess weight, my stomach aches are no more, I'm on a regular schedule and I feel like I could take flight. First few days take some getting used to because it's removing all the sludge in your body so you get some gas and bloating but once it kicks in, put a seatbelt on. You'll be reborn. You really have no idea how much you carry around every day until you're pounding porcelain like Tyson in the first round and leaving the bathroom like Tiny Tim tip toeing through daisies. 100% recommend, it's the best thing that's ever happened to me. The Gold Standard On My Regularity Regimen

I have an extremely rare disease that effects every cell in my body - think head to toe and everything in between. Not only because of the disease but also as a side effect of the various medications I take, I deal with chronic constipation. When attacking chronic constipation you really have to take a multi-pronged approach. Not only use fiber, but stool softeners, polyetholyene glycol (not sure if I spelled that right but the brand name is Miralax), in addition to exercise, drinking water, and PRAYER! Despite having diabetes I wanted to just get original orange flavored MetaMucil but I couldn't find one on Amazon unless I bought a case of it. So, I reluctantly bought the Sugar-Free MetaMucil because the Citracel I had on hand tasted terribly. I was so pleasantly surprised that this doesn't have a "diet" taste. No one WANTS to drink fiber but if you're going to do it, you want it to be at least tolerable. This Sugar-Free version is actually tasty. The key is to drink it slowly but quickly enough so it doesn't turn into a gel. If it does gel up, just add more water and stir and it's good to go (so you can go). Hope this review helps

Bowl Movement and helps get rid of hemmoroid

I was seriously suffered by Thombosead external Hemmoroid with lots of pain for over a year . A month ago it got really bad and I had severe bleeding at one point with intense pain and burning sensation. i lost sleep many nights because of the pain and burning sensation. This product helped make my bowl moment regular. As of today I am 90% cured . little less pain or burning sensation and no bleeding. My bowl movement is perfect amd I don't need to sit on toilet for ever .just 1 minute and I am done. Note : I also follow Other important life style changes which including eating rich in Fibre food like Barn Raising, fruits, vegetables and anything with Fibre. i have avoided meat completely , less weight lifting and lots of walking , sitz bath after every bowl movement , coconut oil and turmeric mix for affected area. I hope this helps someone who is in pain . For me over the counter ointments started irritating at one point so i had to stop them using completely. Today I feel I am almost back to normal life

Great source of fiber

I take Metamucil because the western diet tends to be somewhat deficient in fiber. I've been taking this product for years and it does an amazing job with your digestive system. You just need to make sure to mix it up into your water good or else there will be lumps of fiber at the bottom of your cup. Once you begin taking it you'll be going to the bathroom regularly and your stools will be nice and whole. I don't really have constipation issues but for those of you who do this product will certainly help in that regard. My only issue with this product is its a little pricey

It does what it is supposed to do!!!

As noted it does the job perfectly. The only thing I would correct is the using instruction. It calls for putting in your glass the powder first, the water second, then stir. I found that results in an uneven result. Instead I put in the water first and the powder second followed by a fast stir counted to forty. The result is perfect

Good but in moderation.

Great fiber product for constipation or staying regular but make sure you mix it with plenty of water and dont use this as an everyday thing. Psyllium husk can potentially bulk up and cause blockages leading to possible serious damage, and has been known to interact with certain medications, and certain conditions. So overall this is a good product, but just do your research before using, it may not be for everybody

Using for weight loss and general health – Happy with it

I love this fiber product. May get the unflavored in the future but the orange tastes fine. I usually simply put 2 teaspoons in a 10 oz glass of water twice a day. Yes it will clean you out and help you have a bowel movement. I had 1 a day before starting this, now I usually have 2. One con is (tmi sorry) it does make my poos too thick which I guess is better than loose, so it definitely will firm you up. Besides that, everything else has been great. It greatly reduces my appetite and when taken a little bit before meals, it keeps me full for hours and makes me eat less. My stomach looks flatter. No issues with gas or anything besides the 1 con I previously said. Overall, very happy with this product and plan on making it part of my life long-term

You've Got To Read This! Unbelievable!

I needed to buy some more fiber and although I liked what I was using, I saw Metamucil and read that it not only promotes healthy digestion, but may help you lose weight by curbing your appetite. Hahaha! Yeah, sure! (Eye rollðŸ™„) I've been on EVERY diet known to man and for years haven't been able to lose 30 lbs that I need to get rid of and now at 57, menopause has NOT been my friend! I can go all day not eating but at dinner time I'm so starving that some nights its like I can't get enough food to fill me up. Well, for the last 2 days, I've been taking the amount for appetite control just before I eat dinner and literally within MINUTES, I have to force myself to get enough calories in because I feel too full to eat! Its CRAZY! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! Nothing, I mean NOTHING, has EVER controlled my appetite like this before, so I have NO doubt, that NOW I'll be able to lose those 30 lbs in no time!! And to think, I was just expecting to help my digestion with fiber, so feeling satisfied at night and curbing my cravings is such a BONUS!! The taste reminds me of Tang, the orange breakfast drink we used to drink, very tasty, and although you have to drink it fast or it turns to sludge, that's such a tiny price to pay to get my fiber in AND lose weight

God's gift to constipation!

9-4-20 UPDATE: Due to the shortage, and playing with the availability dates, I am forced to buy much cheaper store brand again, and it's working well! Actually, just as good. The current stuff is no longer clumpy or sandy. 12-2-19 update: best stuff, ever, but forgot not to order near Christmas, as they wait til near delivery deadline hour to tell you it's delayed! No more December orders. I found out the hard way last year, but, forgot. Best stuff, ever! Tried the store brand, but was clumpy, thick, and very hard to mix. Also had a friend (age 60) and gave HER a container, and I got a thumbs up. However, when I first tried it, I only took it twice daily, and had zero results. My doctor told me to go with 3 times daily, and that was last February, 2017. Wish I had been using this product long before turning 76. You should be aware that there may be an odorous side-effect, that for me, usually presents itself during church, so when those around you look in your direction, just discretely, point, with your thumb, to sweet old Sister Thompson sitting near you! REMEMBER: Don't take meds within 2 hours of taking this, because it may absorb them, according to some articals I have read
