Sore throat remedy

Xylitol has been a game-changer for me in preventing ear infections and sore throats. I gargle with it and find it wonderfully effective. I suffer from a weak immune system and frequently encounter that sore throat and itchy ear sensation. After using Xylitol, my symptoms clear up, and it leaves my mouth feeling clean without the stickiness of sugar.

Cold infection support
Most Useful Review
My choice was not solely about reducing sugar intake; I opted for this from a therapeutic perspective. My child experiences frequent colds affecting the upper respiratory tract, and this helps the body cope with the infection. Additionally, it's good for dental health. I highly recommend it; thank you for the thumbs up!

Diabetic-friendly sweetener
Most Useful Review
I've been using Xylitol for a while now, as it is better for my health compared to regular sugar. It's less sweet, has fewer calories, and doesn’t cause significant spikes in blood sugar, making it ideal for those with diabetes. I planned to switch to birch Xylitol next time, as I prefer non-GMO products.

Concerns about GMO
Most Useful Review
Initially, I was excited about using Xylitol, but I discovered some brands contain GMO corn – disheartening news. I prefer those made from birch, which I intend to switch to. While Xylitol has impressive benefits, its higher cost is a downside. It's a natural sweetener that protects teeth from decay, reduces yeast infections and is a better alternative than conventional sugar.

XYLITOL: WHITE CRACK THAT'S BETTER FOR YOU... However, I found out some Xylitol sugars have GMO issues. I prefer avoiding corn consumption and plan to order Birch Xylitol next time. Interestingly, Xylitol has been shown to decrease the number of ear infections due to its antibacterial properties. I appreciate its benefits, but I’ll stick to the original for future purchases.

Relief from sinusitis
Most Useful Review
This seriously affected my digestive system negatively. I used this product as a sugar substitute for five years to maintain my oral hygiene, having initially discovered it in relation to alleviating my chronic sinusitis, which it did after three years along with manuka honey. I am incredibly grateful for that relief. Initially, I had no issues, but about 16 months ago, I started experiencing constipation, fatigue, and brain fog, which I incorrectly attributed to an antibiotic. After learning that some users reported digestive problems after three years with xylitol, I ceased using it and felt 100% better.

Adapting to xylitol
Most Useful Review
I will never return to sugar after using this. It tastes just like sugar, is beneficial, and stable for baking. However, my body needed 1-2 weeks to adjust, and consuming over 60 grams can cause diarrhoea, though this stops once you're used to it.
