Helped my 10 year old daughter

I purchased these for my 10 year old daughter who is very emotional and stresses herself out over her grades and her friends drama (whatever drama a 10 year old could have). It took about a week I suppose for me to see any change, but it has helped her SO much with the grades. She has brought home less and less bad grades, she studies better, and she was able to easily ignore the BS of her friend group. Just to make sure I was certain about these vitamins, I didn't give them to her for about a week or so after I started seeing the change, and again, she brought home more bad grades, drama and anxiety from her friend group bled over into our home life to where she was way more irritable with her brother and sister, got very mad very easily, so I started giving them to her again, and now she sleeps better, is energized in the morning, her grades are getting better, study habits better, these vitamins are a God send. Highly recommend but stay with the low dose for children, and I plan on increasing the dosage when she's about 12 or 13 :

5htp changed my life

I'm serious. I was really dealing with depression and anxiety. i was in a state where I always felt myself in a funky mood. i started taking this and it makes you feel "more positive" not sure how to explain it but its like having that feeling when something good happens. Its seriously exactly what I needed and has made my life substantially better for 5 years now. If you are feeling down invest in this stuff my friend. It will help you. You deserve to feel nice

Love it!

Wow. Never have I used a supplement product with such tangible effects. I take this at night, or midday, and withing a couple hours, it's knocks the edge off any "dreadful" feelings I'm having. The time release option also seems to make it last longer. Purchasing again!

The extended release made me very anxious!!

I've been taking 5htp for a while for mood and energy and it's made a big difference in how I feel. However, this form, of maybe just this brand, not only doesn't work but makes me feel very anxious. I do much better with the regular non-extended version, which helps much more and never leaves me anxious. I just have to remember to space the doses out, regular kind only lasts for 3 hours. Please try that kind first if you're trying this for the first time

Relief for long time insomniac

I've been an insomniac for nearly 23 years, my kids got me one of those watches that tracks your sleep which has only confirmed my issues. I really notice a difference taking this natural supplement. In addition to better, longer deeper sleep, I find that I'm also in a better mood. I also recommended it to my mom & she's noticing it's helpful. I've been on every sleep medication there is & felt troubled by the side effects. This for me has been the way to go

Has been amazing for me!

I'm an RN (ICU) and had been hesitant about trying this. Over the course of the last 6 to 8 months, I've been under more work related and personal stress. I began having night sweats, waking up between 2 and 4 in the morning, binge eating with carbs and sweets, gaining abdominal weight along with irritability. My labs were normal (cortisol, thyroid testing). I decided to try this and I am so glad I did. I wish I had been taking it for the 5 months it sat on my shelf. Literally within 2 days, I could tell the difference. I take 1 tablet (100 mg) with breakfast and another 12 hours later with dinner. I've stopped sweating at night, have started sleeping longer and my mood is much better and I'm no longer binge eating. I find myself much more content during the day and not walking around tense and feeling high strung. I have since ordered 2 more bottles now that I realize I'm not having any adverse side effects, and this product is actually working for me. I definitely think I needed the timed release version and 1 tablet is time released over 12 hours, hence me taking it every 12 hours. I've always worked out, but had been discouraged. Now that I've added this product to my daily regimen, I'm up early in the morning for my work out and have finally started losing weight again. Amazing.....

Pleasantly Surprised

I bought these on a friend's recommendation. I have been pleased with how they make me feel. I feel like I do when I've gotten enough rest and I have hope. I'm strill stressed, but I feel like I can handle everything confidently as opposed to like I feel like I'm going to crack. As yet (first week), I have experienced no side effects

A miracle for depression, sleep issues and anxiety!

This supplement has been a miracle for me! I've had trouble sleeping since I entered menopause, and I posted on Facebook to ask my friends for advice. One of my friends suggested 5-htp and I ordered this brand. I took it for a few nights and was delighted by the way it helped me fall asleep and stay that way. I started researching it and decided to take one in the morning as well as evening. After 10 years of depression and anxiety (especially while driving) this supplement has helped me feel.....normal. Nothing sluggish or drugged or blank like Prozac and Xanax made me feel. This helps me feel positive and balanced and in control without Rx drugs. I'm amazed! My friend said it took her a week to feel the effects but I felt them the same day I started it. I feel good during the day and fall asleep without a sleep aid and stay that way.
