Awesome Omega! My husband and I began using it while preparing for pregnancy. The andrologist prescribed a dosage of 3000 mg per day from Solgar, containing high levels of EPA and DHA. It's convenient since only three tablets are needed daily. After a few weeks, we observed a significant improvement; his psoriasis nearly vanished! My skin also became softer and more moisturised, and the peeling disappeared. I recommend both this higher dosage and the smaller Omega 3 Fish Oil Concentrate, which is cheaper, although you'll need ten capsules for the same dosage. Both are excellent!

Vitamin B shows promise for psoriasis
Superiority of a vitamin B-containing emollient compared to a standard emollient in the maintenance treatment of mild-to-moderate plaque psoriasis.
We conducted a study to examine the effectiveness of a vitamin B-containing ointment in treating mild-to-moderate plaque psoriasis compared to a standard glycerol-petrolatum-based emollient cream. The trial was designed thoughtfully, with 24 patients participating in a randomized, controlled, single-blind format. Each patient received the vitamin B ointment on one side of their body and the standard cream on the other side.
Over the duration of 12 weeks, we periodically measured the severity of psoriasis using the Psoriasis Area Severity Index (PASI). Our findings revealed that the vitamin B ointment significantly reduced the severity of psoriasis compared to the control cream at various times, particularly showing an impressive average reduction of 87.6% from baseline after 12 weeks.
This evidence suggests that vitamin B ointment not only offers a new treatment avenue for psoriasis but also should be considered in future treatment guidelines. We believe our research underscores the potential benefits of a vitamin B therapy approach in managing this chronic skin condition effectively.

We explored the relationship between homocysteine levels and psoriasis, with particular attention on how folate treatment may influence this chronic skin condition. Recent findings have shown that individuals suffering from psoriasis typically have elevated serum homocysteine levels. This condition, known as hyperhomocysteinaemia, can be associated with deficiencies in essential nutrients like folic acid and vitamin B12.

We examined the effects of Efamol Marine, a blend of evening primrose oil and fish oil, on patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA). Over nine months, 38 participants were divided into two groups: one received Efamol Marine and the other a placebo.
Despite the initial laboratory indication of some anti-inflammatory effects, such as changes in specific serum markers, we found no significant improvements in skin or joint symptoms in clinical assessments. The need for NSAIDs remained unchanged, suggesting that larger doses might be necessary for noticeable benefits.

Really effective medication! These vitamins are my first order from iHerb and they met my expectations! I opted for them due to a significant price difference compared to local pharmacies, but I particularly wanted Solgar. My hair is quite thin, dry, and brittle, often breaking and falling out. Both my skin and nails are also lacking. After two months of use, I noticed new hair growth, reduced scalp itching, and hardly any hair loss. My nails grow rapidly; I won’t comment on their strengthening as I use gel varnish. The best improvements are in my skin: reduced dryness, improved tone, and texture, and most importantly, the symptoms of psoriasis have significantly decreased. I hardly use hormonal treatments for psoriasis now. There’s no inflammation or itching, and I haven’t experienced any negative side effects.
