Pancreatin improves nutritional status
[The effectiveness of pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy using microencapsulated pancreatin preparations in the correction of nutritional status in patients with chronic pancreatitis: a prospective observational study].
We evaluated pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT) that uses microencapsulated pancreatin in enhancing nutritional status among patients with chronic pancreatitis (CP) and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI).
This study included 58 participants, split into two groups based on their nutritional status. Over 8-12 months, both groups received the therapy while we assessed changes in body weight, BMI, and laboratory indicators of nutrition before and after treatment.
Impressively, we found that PERT effectively improved nutritional status in patients suffering from CP.

This enzyme almost entirely stops my old dog’s pancreatitis attacks. He had severe pancreatitis when I adopted him and took two pills with each meal. It unexpectedly became an antidote, as his pancreatitis attacks have rarely occurred since starting it, and his stool has improved.

Eicosapentaenoic acid aids pancreatic health
N-3 PUFA Deficiency Aggravates Streptozotocin-Induced Pancreatic Injury in Mice but Dietary Supplementation with DHA/EPA Protects the Pancreas via Suppressing Inflammation, Oxidative Stress and Apoptosis.
We investigated the effects of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) on pancreatic injury, particularly in the context of conditions that mimic pancreatitis. Our study began by creating a mouse model with a deficiency in n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) to evaluate how this lack impacts pancreatic function and injury.
The findings were quite striking. In the absence of n-3 PUFAs, the mice experienced significant pancreatic impairment, including reduced insulin levels and decreased health of pancreatic islets. However, when we introduced dietary EPA and DHA—both forms of n-3 PUFAs—prior to inflicting pancreatic damage, we observed remarkable protective effects. Specifically, the treatment with EPA led to notable increases in insulin production and improved overall islet function.
Additionally, our research highlighted that these protective effects of EPA may stem from its ability to modulate inflammation, oxidative stress, and apoptosis in pancreatic tissues. This suggests that dietary adjustments, especially increasing n-3 PUFAs like EPA, could be a beneficial strategy to support pancreatic health and combat injuries associated with conditions like pancreatitis.
No exacerbations

Good omega, but should be taken with caution in pancreatitis. I took 1 capsule after meals and had no issues or exacerbations.

I order these enzymes all the time due to my pancreatitis; they are truly lifesaving. I’ve tried many enzymes, but these are the best for me. They also have a pleasant mint taste. I recommend them to anyone with digestive issues!
Life-changing supplement
Most Useful Review
The best for pancreatitis and gastritis! I had tried numerous pills and remedies, but finally found my saviour. Eating small portions every three hours and using this supplement has been a game-changer! It’s easy to use—suck two or three if you feel nauseous, and chew three if you eat something heavy. This product has saved me and several friends with similar issues. I ended up ordering it for everyone, and it helps us immensely.

Excellent for heavy meals

Great for digesting heavy food! I regularly buy papaya enzymes due to my chronic pancreatitis; without them, I can't handle heavy meals. An added advantage is their chlorophyll content, which aids in detoxifying the body and freshening breath. The white, small, flattened-oval tablets are also tasty and fragrant!
Affordable enzyme option

The enzyme is superb! I have chronic pancreatitis and must regularly take enzymes. While pharmacies offer animal-derived enzymes like Creon, they come at a high price and can lead to body habituation. In contrast, these plant-based enzymes are safe to use, come in large, affordable packaging, and are effective. I take two after meals and find them excellent. I highly recommend them to everyone and will continue to repurchase.

The best price-quality ratio! I have been using Acidophilin for two years and am very satisfied with the results. Unlike local drugs, this is far more effective and affordable. My digestive tract has been restored in just a month, and I managed to cope with pancreatitis after antibiotics.

Rejuvenates health
Most Useful Review
Last year, I faced severe exacerbations of chronic conditions like psoriasis and pancreatitis. Following my doctor's advice, I began taking Now's selenium. After a month of using two small tablets of 100 mcg each, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin and overall health. Though symptoms returned during the off-season, restarting selenium showed noticeable results in just two weeks.
