Caused severe heartburn

My elderly mother took these A-L-C capsules for a few months, starting alongside RALA but later discontinued RALA. The intention was to improve her cognitive health, and indeed, numerous studies on A-L-C exist. Unfortunately, both RALA and A-L-C resulted in her experiencing horrendous heartburn, which she described as "like I've drunk acid." This discomfort commenced as soon as she began taking the supplements and vanished once she ceased. Therefore, if you suffer from GERD or reflux, it's advisable to avoid this product. However, if your digestive system is perfectly healthy, you may consider trying it; just be sure to stop immediately if heartburn occurs, as it won't improve with time.

Great! Excellent value, product, and brand. It boosts antioxidants and, notably, I experienced no reflux. Thank you, iHerb!

TAKE WITH A MEAL AND SOONER, RATHER THAN LATER! No allergic reactions, and I feel that this product, combined with Now's Extra-Strength Ubiquinol 200 mg and Nature Made's Vitamin D3 25 mg and Super B Complex, has improved my concentration and memory at work. I've learned to take the pills during a meal, or else I suffer tart reflux. Twice, a pill came back up, which was an unpleasant experience! Either take them right before or during a meal, and skip the dose if you forget. If you're sensitive to tart reflux, this may not be for you, though I would consider ordering it again if necessary.

The pills are quite large and tend to induce heartburn, possibly because I have acid reflux. I haven't noticed any alterations in my weight or overall health since taking them.
