Carnitine's potential for insomnia relief
We explored the effects of l-carnitine on insomnia in the context of Parkinson's disease. The study analyzed whether higher levels of l-carnitine could help alleviate sleep disturbances experienced by individuals with this condition.

Interestingly, our findings indicated a suggestive inverse causal effect of l-carnitine on insomnia. Specifically, we observed that increased levels of l-carnitine were associated with a lower likelihood of insomnia, which was demonstrated with a statistically significant odds ratio of 0.817.

While this is promising, it's important to note that these results should be viewed with caution. The link between l-carnitine and insomnia is still being investigated, and further research is needed to confirm these findings and to understand the mechanisms involved. Therefore, we should remain open to a deeper exploration of how l-carnitine might play a role in sleep quality, especially for those suffering from Parkinson's disease.

Total insomnia. Anyone slightly predisposed to insomnia should avoid this. After a week of taking it, I was unable to sleep at all, only managing to doze off at 5-6 in the morning. I spent three weeks without any sleep, unsure of what to do, and even 10 mg of melatonin didn’t help until I realised I needed to stop taking carnitine. I cancelled it, and immediately, everything returned to normal. I also experienced stomach issues during use, so I believe this drug is hazardous to health. There was no touted effect!

Weight loss aid
An excellent dietary supplement that aids in weight loss and boosts endurance. I genuinely like L-carnitine; the results are quite noticeable with regular use. There is one downside, which is insomnia, but if you listen to your body and time your intake properly, you’ll be fine! Consulting a specialist is recommended, though I prefer to trust my own instincts, but I wouldn't advise others to do the same!
