We evaluated the effectiveness of a nitric-zinc complex solution (NZCS) for treating palmoplantar and periungual warts in children. Over a series of sessions, we found that 83.9% of warts completely resolved, with 87.5% success in periungual cases. The treatment was painless and easy, requiring only biweekly applications.

Additionally, the results were esthetically pleasing, with no significant side effects reported. This study highlights NZCS as a promising option for wart management in pediatric patients, making it easier for both children and their guardians.

Zinc solution shows warts effectiveness
We explored the use of a novel nitric-zinc complex (NZC) solution for treating external ano-genital warts, a common issue caused by the human papillomavirus. In this study, 100 patients underwent up to four treatments, showing a remarkable 92% cure rate after the sessions. The findings also indicated that patients with fewer warts achieved better results. While relapses occurred in some cases, most tolerated the treatment well. This study suggests that earlier diagnosis and treatment lead to a more favorable outcome against these warts.

Zinc treatment comparable to cryotherapy
We analyzed how effective a zinc-based solution (Nitrizinc® Complex) is compared to cryotherapy in treating anogenital warts. In our study, 120 participants received either treatment and were monitored for up to four sessions.

Our findings indicated that the zinc solution was as effective as cryotherapy for smaller warts and was generally more tolerable. Participants experienced a lower recurrence rate, making Nitrizinc a promising alternative to traditional cryotherapy for managing these warts.

Good warts effect

The effect is very good. I started eating it as it was beneficial for warts. There is also hanposin, but it was less effective for me. Now I don’t consume it daily. If taken right after a meal, it reduces warts, though that’s not feasible for every meal. Regardless, I’ll continue taking it as I possess good immunity.

ZINC is an essential mineral for the body, boosting the immune system and combating bacteria and viruses. I take it as a second dose later in the day, along with a vitamin that contains copper. The tablet's convenience and bulk purchasing are great. Since significantly increasing my zinc intake, I’ve noticed my persistent warts beginning to disappear! I truly believe zinc has been the key.

Zinc solution shows promise against warts
We explored the effectiveness of a nitric-zinc complex solution (NZCS) in treating hard-to-handle warts caused by HPV. In a multicenter study involving 14 Italian dermatologists, 83 out of 106 responses reported using NZCS. Impressively, 84.1% of patients saw significant improvement with this treatment, much higher than the 44.8% success rate observed with past therapies. Not only did NZCS demonstrate superior efficacy, but it also provided better tolerability compared to previously used treatment methods.

We explored various intralesional treatments for plantar warts by analyzing 26 studies published between January 2012 and January 2021. Among the treatments assessed, zinc sulfate showed a decent median cure rate of 70%.

However, while it was better than some options, it didn't outperform intralesional vitamin D3, which had an impressive 80% cure rate. Overall, treatments like bleomycin and Candida antigen also showed effectiveness, but vitamin D3 stands as a promising first-line choice.

This study suggests ongoing consideration of different approaches for those struggling with stubborn plantar warts.

We examined the effectiveness of a new treatment called nitric-zinc complex solution (NZCS) compared to the traditional cryotherapy for plantar warts. In our controlled study with 62 participants, we found that while cryotherapy had a cure rate of 65.5%, NZCS had a slightly lower rate of 56.6%.

Patients needed fewer treatment sessions with cryotherapy, averaging 3.6 sessions, versus 4.8 for those treated with NZCS. Despite its lower effectiveness, NZCS could still be considered a viable treatment option for those with plantar warts.

Zinc less effective for warts
We examined the effectiveness of intralesional zinc sulfate compared to intralesional Candida antigen in treating cutaneous warts. In a controlled trial with 105 patients, those treated with Candida antigen showed a remarkable 94.3% clearance rate, while zinc sulfate yielded only 74.2%. This indicates that while zinc treatment is an option, it isn't as successful as the Candida antigen approach. Ultimately, this study suggests that zinc isn't the most effective choice for wart treatment.
