Papaya treatment shows mixed results
We analyzed the effectiveness of the papaya preparation Caricol® in treating digestive disorders, including heartburn, using a double-blind placebo-controlled design. Participants with chronic digestive issues took either Caricol® or a placebo for 40 days.
While we observed significant improvements in symptoms like constipation and bloating among early returnees, results for heartburn did not reach statistical significance due to a small sample size. Thus, while Caricol® supports digestive health, it may not effectively alleviate heartburn symptoms specifically.

The best enzymes for my stomach health! These tablets are effective and really assist with overeating, soothing and relieving my heartburn. I usually take 2, but during heavy overeating, I chew 3 to alleviate discomfort faster.
