Vitamin C reduces heartburn symptoms
We investigated how vitamin C, specifically in the form of a 2% vitamin C solution spray, could help alleviate heartburn symptoms following Lugol chromoendoscopy, a procedure that involves staining the esophagus to better visualize abnormalities. In a well-structured study with 240 participants, we used a randomized, double-blind approach to compare the effectiveness of vitamin C to normal saline and sodium thiosulfate solutions.

Our results showed that vitamin C spray significantly reduced both acute heartburn symptoms and late discomfort when compared to the saline solution. Specifically, 33% of participants using vitamin C reported relief from acid regurgitation or heartburn, compared to just 15% with sodium thiosulfate. Additionally, patients noted an improvement in retrosternal pain, with 21% finding relief from the vitamin C treatment versus 9% from sodium thiosulfate.

Furthermore, vitamin C offered a quicker discoloration of the iodine-stained mucosa compared to saline, enhancing the overall experience of the procedure. These findings suggest that incorporating vitamin C spray into post-procedural care could be a helpful strategy for patients facing discomfort after undergoing Lugol chromoendoscopy.

An excellent formula of Vitamin C, far better than ascorbic acid. It helps to relax and prevent colds, and notably does not cause heartburn.

You can take it after or during meals, and at 1000mg, it’s easy to take once a day. After consistent use, I feel less susceptible to colds. Not having heartburn is a distinct advantage over other vitamin C options.

No stomach pain
The best! For several years, I’ve been buying Ester-C with bioflavonoids. I suffer from gastritis and have high stomach acidity, yet this Esther C does not cause heartburn or stomach pain. It's excellent for strengthening the immune system, collagen production, and is a great antioxidant. I also appreciate the large pack and 1000 mg in a single tablet.

Relief from heartburn

A few years ago, I struggled with heartburn from vitamin C, but after switching to this product, I’ve been taking it for years without issue. I originally took 500mg one or twice a day, but now opt for 1000mg once daily. It’s a trustworthy product and I recommend the lower dosage for those who find large pills difficult.

No heartburn
The pill size is slightly large, requiring caution when swallowing. However, I haven’t experienced any stomach pain or heartburn with this vitamin C product, which I believe is of good quality due to its bioflavonoid content.

The ideal vitamin C! I’ve ordered this multiple times. My husband and I share it; a jar lasts us three months with one tablet each daily. Previous brands caused heartburn, but this one is fine. We also take vitamin D to support our immunity during the pandemic, and I recommend it!

I consume about 3g daily. I'm pleased that I don’t experience heartburn, although swallowing can be inconvenient due to the large pill size.
