We aimed to evaluate how a panthenol-enriched mask, specifically La Roche-Posay Mask Pro, performs in improving skin barriers for different types, such as dry sensitive, oily sensitive, and oily acne-prone skin.
Over 177 participants used the mask under guidance, and we measured factors like hydration, sebum content, and redness at multiple intervals.
The results showed significant improvements across all skin types, particularly for oily acne skin, which saw reductions in sebum and redness. Importantly, there were no adverse effects reported, indicating that this mask can be a trusty companion for those with various skin concerns.

IPL outperformed vitamin B3 for acne improvement
The Efficacy of Intense Pulsed Light Versus Topical Nicotinamide 4% in Treatment of Acne Vulgaris.
A split-face study on 20 acne patients compared two treatments applied to opposite sides of the face. The right side received four intense pulsed light (IPL) sessions spaced two weeks apart, while the left side received topical nicotinamide 4% (vitamin B3) cream applied twice daily for two months.
Both treatments significantly improved inflammatory acne lesions. However, IPL delivered noticeably better results than the nicotinamide cream, with patients expressing greater satisfaction with the light-based approach. The findings suggest IPL is a safe and effective option for mild to moderate acne, particularly when other systemic treatments aren't suitable.

I stopped taking these due to the biotin causing me acne. It’s unfortunate as this is a fantastic brand.
