CoQ10 shows no flu treatment benefits
We explored the link between levels of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) and total antioxidant capacity (TAC) in children diagnosed with H1N1 and seasonal influenza. Hospitalized children were compared to a control group of healthy peers. While we observed decreased levels of CoQ10 and TAC in children with H1N1, these findings did not indicate that CoQ10 treatment improved outcomes in flu patients. The study confirmed that pandemic influenza heightened oxidative stress compared to seasonal flu but showed no significant benefits from CoQ10 as a treatment option.

Cough alleviated

I use Doctor's Best CoQ10 200 mg twice daily for systolic heart failure. I had been coughing due to fluid around my heart, and although my doctor prescribed furosemide (a water pill), I was concerned about its impact on my kidneys. Since taking CoQ10, my cough has disappeared! I'm really pleased with it!

After contracting COVID followed by a severe flu, my heart felt off for a long time. I took this medication for a few months and I feel much better now. While it's possible my condition improved naturally, I strongly believe this product has been effective.

I don't catch a cold when I take Coenzyme Q10. After running out, I did catch the flu, so I will continue using it. I previously took a more expensive reduced form, but I'm experiencing positive effects here as well.
