Honest review

I love magnessium, I am a huge fan of it, it helps me with digestion issues, sleep issues, anxiety issues, hormonal issues ect. and I feel chelated magnessium is hands down the best so I love this product for that. I am one of those people who can take 15 supplement pills and swallow them all down at once with no issues at all, with these pills however they constantly get stuck and I have to drink ALOT of water or eat something to wash it down. That has NEVER happened to me before with any tablet or capsule and I have taken giant pills before. So needless to say these are great and I will finish the bottle but if you are one of those people that has a problem swallowing tablets you will most likely have issues with these tablets

What a difference

So a little back story… I struggle with an autoimmune disease daily. It affects my muscles/joints, etc. I also struggle with migraines/tension headaches. My husband is why I bought this in the first place as he always struggles with charly horses. He has varicose veins, so I'm not sure if that makes him more prone to cramps, but I figured to give magnesium a try. He also struggles with getting a restful night sleep. My husband is borderline sleep apnea and doctors won't do anything for it since it's only borderline. We both been taking these for 2 weeks. The very first night I took this I slept like a baby. I'm always tossing/turning in bed and this helps greatly for that. I really didn't expect it to help me with sleep since I don't struggle with sleeping to begin with. My husband says this helps him fall asleep faster and stay asleep. He says he feels like his sleep has improved but it's not 100% better. I've noticed a tremendous difference in my shoulders/neck. I always struggle with tension/pain in that area so intensely that I have to take Tylenol/Aleve to help with pain. Because of the pain, I get severe headaches as well. Since, taking magnesium I haven't struggled with any severe pain/headaches. Also, I haven't taken any Tylenol. My neck feels like I have more flexibility and not constantly stiff. My shoulders also don't feel so tight/knotted up as before. I also have plantar fasciitis and that pain has improved as well, not 100% but much better than before. No longer feel like I'm walking on pins and needles. I haven't heard my husband complain about any cramps or charly horses so I think it's safe to say that has gotten better for him. My husband actually takes this supplement without any reminders or purposely forgetting. Past supplements/vitamins he just never took or wanted to take, but this one he actually wants to take so my guess is he can tell or feel the improvements with this supplement over any others. We both take 2 capsules at night before bed. We don't take the full recommended dose as we feel we do get some other magnesium from our food. I highly recommend this for any muscle/joint/tension pain and as far as sleep goes it helps for overall relaxation/stress. The only cons for me is the capsules are huge and hard to swallow. Also, it actually made my period cramps hurt pretty bad. I don't usually cramp when on my period but for some reason I did this cycle. Never had issues before and the magnesium is the only change. Maybe it's trying to correct hormones, etc. Either way, I plan to continue magnesium as it helps tremendously overall

Saved me.

I am 36 y/o muscular but Dad body. I was having heart palpitations, muscle cramps that were progressing to my torso and I couldn't get them to go away no matter how I stretched. My mind was unclear/foggy and I was fatigued all the time... On top of this I wasn't sleeping well and was always irritable. My solution was two-fold, first I stopped drinking all caffeine and cut way down on sugar. This helped balance me out and reduce the palpitations I was experiencing and I felt calmer, then I supplemented these and my life changed FOREVER. Look, I know this may sound dumb, but within minutes of taking 2 I was feeling warm, relaxed, my chest palpitations were literally eliminated! My muscles weren't cramping, my mind was calm.. not super focused but calm to where I could process sensory information at a normal rate, my wife even noticed my conversational abilities improved drastically and I seemed to have an improved countenance. Lastly, OMG did I SLEEP LIKE A GOOD BABY!!! to this day, I can take some before bed and whoop I'm out like a light switch. I went back to Caffeine and as long as I have the magnesium, it doesn't have the negative effects on me the same way it did before... I still can't consume it daily and when I do only in the morning, but my symptoms have improved drastically. Buy this

Works and affordable.

I've taken chelated magnesium for years to help with digestion and hormonal issues. Recently I'd run out and home on travel for a week without it. The issues quickly returned and I was desperate for a cheap, fast-delivered solution. This arrived in the evening and I took them with dinner. I slept the best I had in weeks that night and digestion issues cleared up quickly the next day. I'm quite happy to switch to this as my go-to monthly supply of magnesium

Effective but huge pill

I'm giving these four stars because they're huge! I can swallow it, but it's not comfortable, and I'm used to taking many sizes of pills. I have since found a brand that makes pills about 1/2 this size. Other than the size, the supplement seems effective. It's not the company's fault they're so big, just a personal preference here, but thought people might want to know

Very good magnesium

I've been impressed with Dr's Best supplements every time I get them. These are no exception. High quality magnesium that is easily absorbed. As far as all of these reviewers saying they are huge pills, that's an exaggeration in my opinion. They are the same size as 80% of the supplements I've taken in the past. Similar to a calcium pill

Works great

These work great for my headaches and muscle cramps. I had run out and was using a different brand the cramps returned, after getting these again and taking them two days the cramps went away. They could be a skinnier pill, there are sometimes I have trouble swallowing them

More energy

I feel like I have more energy, need less sleep and have less palpitations than I used to prior to beginning this supplement. One funny harmless side effect is it turns the urine a bit neon yellow colored

I had RLS and it was really affecting me negatively. My sleep was horrible. I read about taking magnesium to help. I saw on another product someone reviewed and said they decided to go with this one instead and was very happy. So I tried it. I'm on my second bottle. I've never slept so good. And RLS - gone
