Gingkolide B shows promise, needs more study
We explored the potential of Gingkolide B, a natural extract from Ginkgo biloba, as a preventive treatment for migraines in young patients. In a small group of 30 participants, we found that Gingkolide B was well-tolerated and showed promising results in reducing migraine frequency.

However, we need to note that the study had an open-label design and a limited sample size. While the findings are encouraging, they do not establish definitive effectiveness, requiring further research for confirmation.

Ginkgo biloba shows potential for migraine
We assessed the impact of Ginkgolide B, derived from ginkgo biloba, on preventing migraines in young patients. In our small trial of 24 participants, we found that this herbal treatment appears to effectively reduce the frequency of migraine attacks and lessen the need for symptomatic medication.

Importantly, the treatment was well tolerated, showing promise as a non-pharmacological option for those struggling with migraines. While these findings are preliminary and warrant further exploration, they offer hope in addressing migraines in children and adolescents.

We explored the potential of Ginkgolide B to treat acute migraine aura in a small group of patients. During the study, 25 participants tracked the duration of their aura symptoms over two migraine attacks. In the first attack, the subjects reported their symptoms without treatment. For the second attack, they took Ginkgolide B right as their aura began.

Results showed a significant reduction in aura duration, dropping from about 34 minutes to about 22 minutes. Most notably, some patients even experienced the disappearance of headache pain during treatment. Thankfully, no serious side effects were reported.

Migraines. I've heard great things about Ginkgo and its benefits for mental focus, clarity, memory, and even eyesight due to increased blood flow to the head. However, upon taking this specific brand, I frequently experienced migraines and headaches. Initially, I thought it was due to other causes, but when I ceased taking it for a few days, my migraines disappeared. I then tried it again to confirm, and the migraines returned. I'm very disappointed despite the glowing reviews and claims of quality control. I'm now using another brand of Ginkgo from my local shop without issues, which makes me doubt this company's other supplements.

We looked into the impact of ginkgolide B, an extract from Ginkgo biloba leaves, on migraines with aura. In a six-month study involving 50 women, participants experienced a marked decrease in both the frequency and duration of migraine auras during treatment. Over the course of four months, the average number of migraine auras dropped significantly, along with the duration of each episode. Impressively, 42.2% of participants reported complete disappearance of auras in the latter stages of treatment. Importantly, no serious side effects were reported.

Excellent! This is my second order. Previously, I frequently experienced migraine attacks; a friend suggested ginkgo biloba. After my first course in autumn 2021, my migraine attacks halved, and I've also noticed memory improvements.

I regret not using this product earlier. I suffered from frequent migraines—up to 25 attacks a month—until recently. Now, I haven’t experienced a migraine in three weeks! It has been life-changing for me and I ordered some for my mother.

I'm positively evaluating this product, as I've nearly forgotten about severe migraines. Previously, I had them several times a month, but now I only experience one every two months, likely due to a synergistic effect with vitamins and Omega-3.

Migraine control

I have vegetative dystonia and used to have headaches and migraines triggered by weather changes. After taking one capsule daily, my headaches and reactions to the weather have stopped, and my memory has improved. I believe selecting the appropriate dosage is key, and I personally found 120 mg to be effective.
