I've been hunting for a new Aloe Vera Gel, as I stopped purchasing my long time favorite Aloe Gel from Trader Joes. I've been using this Gel now for about a month and I think I'm hooked. It's not greasy at all and dries almost instantly. There's no distinctive scent with this gel, like most Aloes. It is very drying, even with my overly oily skin, so I always recommend a moisturizer over top. I use this morning and night during my skin care routine and BOY does it work wonders. This gel has cleared up my Acne so quickly and killed off the biggest of volcanos on my face over night. I use this before makeup application as well and it doesn't have any issue there, unlike some gels that will ball up with most makeup. It does have a really cooling, refreshing feel to it which I love on my skin. The only real con for me is the fact that when applied too closely to the eyes, it can cause a burning, irritated sensation but this is pretty typical for me due to sensitive eyes so it might not happen with someone else. However, this is my new go to Aloe Gel and I've definitely be repurchasing towards summer for potential burns and skin treatment

I like this stuff

I like this stuff. Aside from sunburns, it's also supposedly good for inflammation, Acne, moisturizing, and is just generally good for your skin. However, I'm a little disappointed because I bought this here, then saw it in Walmart for nearly half the price

Great for Acne too.

I first purchased this in a small 2 oz. bottle, that bottle lasted for months, you don't need a lot of this. I decided to purchase this size because it's (of course) great for Acne, plus I'm going to start making my own curl custard since my hair doesn't like most gels on the market. I'll do another review for that later. Revision (8/13) I still think this is wonderful. In my family we use this for Acne, we mix it with coconut milk to help hair growth/loss when getting in the shower. Of course I still use my WEN as my final cleanse. This is also great in a mixture of shea butter or just plain gel for the hair. So many uses, look it up

Great for sensitive skin!

I have suffered from Acne for many years and I like to stick to natural products. This product was great for my skin and did not make me break out. I apply this every night before bed and it is a great moisturizer and also helps fade post- Acne hyper pigmentation spots. Great addition to my skin care routine-- highly recommend

Love it and use it to calm down redness in my face after I pop a pimple, helps calm down angry Acne. It also helps cool any burns I get from cooking or the outdoors. My issue, and why I gave it 4 instead of five stars, is if I use it on my face, like I would with an aloe vera plant, even though I get it nowhere near my eye area, my eyes begin to water and sting, as if there is alcohol in it? If it is 100% aloe vera gel, I get there need to be binders and such but why are there so many ingredients, and what in it is making my eyes burn like that when it's only in the vicinity like my cheek or forehead
