Perfect for my intimacy use

Ok, I know this maybe TMI (too much info) for some, but I was looking for reviews that talked about using Aloe gel for intimacy purposes, but I couldn't find one so here is mine in case someone had this product in mind for that purpose. This is a more natural lubricant for intimacy purposes compared to all the other crap on the market that's loaded with all types of unpronounceable chemicals that will upset a female's internal PH balance and cause problems down there. Unlike other Aloe brands, the consistentency of this product is just perfect for intimate moments. I've tried other products (loved GNC brand before they changed the product and watered it down and added a bunch of chemicals), but they just don't cut it. This product is great! It's not greasy at all, not watery where it slips through your fingers and runs down your arms like other products, and it's not too thick and clumpy like jelly or jello, thus it spreads evenly and thoroughly. It's more like a smooth clear pudding type of consistency that's perfect for those intimate moments of life. And, best of all I've never got any unwashable stains on my bed sheets (but I don't know about satin sheets). When You wash your sheets you'll never know you used it in bed

Add your own Alcohol

I used this as a base in my hand sanitizer by adding alcohol, I like the way it turned out. Its turned cloudy but thats what happen when mixing certain ingredients with alcohol. Its difficult to blend the ingredients by hand so for best results use a mixer or blender that will not be used for food afterwards. Just for those chemists or nerds the ingredients in this is Aloe Barbadensis leaf juice (Aloe from the leaf of the plant) which is perfectly safe, Triethanolamine or TEA - this chemical has varying reports of its toxicity yet the FDA still approves it, this is used in cosmetics like liquid foundations etc mainly to dissolve components that wouldnt normaly dissolve. Tocopheryl Acetate is a synthetic form of Vitamin E which is perfectly safe and probably in most of your pill versed vitamins. Carbomer is a thickener used in cosmetics and can be deemed food grade is perfectly safe for every day use. Tetrasodium EDTA is way to complicated to break down so simply put is formaldehyde, again alot of varying degrees of reports can be found on this but the level that is used in this is deemed safe by the FDA. This is used to preserve the ingredients,if you didnt use this in cosmetics they would probably expire within days. DMDM Hydantoin this isa also a preservative but this is more commonly used and you find this in mostly all shampoos and conditioners and is safe for everyday use. Diazolidinyl Urea is the last preservative used in this product, now this isnt as commonly used as the previos one but it is used in combination with the 2 previous ingredients to form 1 single preservative. If you are attempting to go organic this is not the product for you. If you are attempting to use this as a hand sanitizer be aware that there is no ingredients in this that will sanitize or even clean your hands this is nothing more than Aloe, Vitamin E and preservatives. I am a chemist so i do have access to a lab which is where I measured my alcohol for my hand sanitizer. If you are making your own hand sanitizer be aware that you must use Denatured Alcohol or isopropyl Alcohol along with Hydrogen Peroxide and Glycerine but in place of Glycerine I used this product and the final product must contain at least 60% Alcohol. Know this, the most effective way that you can kill viruses including COVID-19 on the surface of your hands is to wash them with soap and water for at least 30 seonds (wet your hands and wrists and lather them with soap, rub or lightly scrub all surfaces for at least 20 seconds then rinse and repeat for an additional 10seconds) Hand sanitizers are more effective when you are in a clean enviroment to begin with which is why the WHO and CDC does not encourage its use, however if you are unable to get to soap and water remove all debris from your hands and completely saturate your hands with an alcohol based hand sanitizer rubbing all surfaces until dry. Oh btw you can buy an Alcohol meter to measure your final product to be sure you've used the correct amounts of Alcohol

Clean, Clear & Refreshing!

Best moisturizer on the market, imho. I've used this product for years, post-surf session, workouts and/or just putting it on in the morning before work, and it is just plain FABULOUS! I hope FotE never changes the formula because it would be a huge loss for me and others who have enjoyed the benefits of using it. Seriously. The other OTC moisturizers at all the Big Box stores for which you pay 'an arm and a leg' don't hold a candle to FotE's 100% Aloe. This stuff is Gold

Beware of the second ingredient

I bought this as a conducting gel for my Nuface microcurrent device. Their branded gel is really pricey and I'd read that basic aloe Vera gel works just as well. This one got good reviews so I tried it. One of the ingredients (I suspect it's the triethanalomine) makes my eyes burn and water like crazy. I gave it a solid week of use (probably shouldn't have continued using it but I'd bought two big bottles) then finally decided I couldn't deal with the discomfort and began researching the ingredients. The second ingredient, Triethanalomine, is one that should be avoided. Its meant to be rinsed off (which I did after each treatment) unless in a lower than 5% concentration. I'm not saying this is a bad or dangerous product, just that it's not one that you want to leave in your skin. And it seems I have a real sensitivity to it so others may too. The gel was a good inch or two away from my eyes and the burning was immediate and severe. If you want to use this product to make hand sanitizer or maybe even a diy hair gel it may be a good option but I wouldn't use it as anything to be left on the skin

Great for burns!

I burned myself really bad with hot oil that splashed on my leg. For a week I used another product that helped relieve the stinging pain of the burn, but the large blisters remained. I purchased this product specifically to use in my hair but decided to try it on the blisters. I put the aloe gel on overnight and when I woke up in the morning, the blisters had gone done. After three days of use, the blisters were fully melded back into my skin. Thank God

I use two products on my skin. This aloe gel and food grade coconut oil. I feel much better not lathering myself in chemicals when so many things are absorbed by the skin. A big bonus recently. When I could find no sanitizing gel or isopropyl alcohol on the shelves, I got some Everclear from the liquor store and added it to this gel. Now I have plenty of gel for awhile

One of the most useful products I have

I love this aloe vera gel (AVG), and have purchased it many times. I use it when I burn myself, and have never had a minor burn which didn't improve when I used it, usually not developing any further, or reversing; although on the rare occasions that I don't use it or fresh aloe vera directly from a live plant, either because I don't have it on hand, or because I think that my heat exposure was too insignificant for AVG to be indicated. It works on sunburns, whereas I haven't found that dilute (non-100%) AVG does. I use it on my nails when they get dry or brittle, and find that it helps my nails and cuticles. When my hands become severely chapped, I often find it helps to apply AVG before putting hand cream on. When I can't get my hands on one of my preferred hair gels (for instance when traveling), I find that mixing a few drops of jojoba oil with a glob of AVG in my hands works well as a substitute. I can't think of anything else which I find so widely useful

Love it

Haven't been able to find this easily didn't realize it was a GNC product hope it don't change. Use it for most every thing, bug bites, cuts etc. Use it on my face daily does most everything the $50. a jar the leading beauty stuff does. Dab a bit under your eyes and watch the bags shrink and yes it does shrink your pours and you can wear it under your make up

I never go without . So many uses . Pump size the best.

I've been using this for years. My reason for using this brand of Aloe Vera gel is that is great at healing the skin ( scratches , marks from scars, on hair to add light moisture to my curls ). This gel is not to be used to moisturize really dry skin- it is meant to add a light moisture. I use on my calves & elbows in hot weather to just take off a dry ashy look left on dry areas in the summer , as well as adding a nice non -greasy sheen to my calves. It also helps with stopping ingrown hairs after hair removal. I really can't go without it . And, this pump size is so convenient to use at home. I keep a small travel size in my handbag. This brand has no fragrance at all which I like ; no clash with my perfum

No protective packaging, arrived w/broken pump

I love this product but they didn't put any protective packaging around the bottles at all in the box and one arrived with a broken pump I had to remove so now it has no cap or anything. Should have been packaged with better care
