Finally, a B12 that works for me :)
Finally, a B12 that works for me! I have been testing low for B12 the past few yrs, (ever since first being tested) and was taking tablets by a variety of different makers. I never felt any difference. I finally read that I should try a liquid form, and voila - I feel so much better. I believe I have a problem absorbing B12, and therefore I really need it in a liquid. For me, it helps with my energy levels and improves my overall mood. If I leave it at work or forget for a few days, I can tell by about day 3-4 that I'm missing it. I will noticably feel more irritable. I stress: Noticably More Irritable.... It's not a cure-all or magic potion, but it helps enough that I will always take a liquid B12 supplement. Per doctor instructions, I took it everyday for the first month, and then tapered down to 3-4 times a week. Side note- I don't always feel comfortable that it is 8000% of the RDA, and may try a lower dosage next year. If you have a B12 deficiency, you will want to try this. Also ask your dr. to test you, if it's not already part of your annual bloodwork. I had to insist on the testing, and I was low in both B12 and D. Both vitamins affect mood and energy levels. Additional thoughts - I find the taste fine, not too sweet or too tart. Really I don't even notice any taste anymore. I do keep it in the refridgerator, even though not required. I have been using for 5 months now, and can still tell if I miss more than 3 days in a row. Note it has no effect on weight-loss for me. That's not why I was taking it, but a lot of marketing claims it helps in weight loss, which it does not for me
