Great iron supplement!
My Ferritin level has been extremely low! I did not want to go the injection route and decided to try supplementing first. I have suffered with acid Reflux for the last couple of years and take Zantac as needed. I tried another brand of iron first and it just made the heartburn so much worse. I switched to the Garden of Life brand because I use several of their other products and in just a few weeks, my Ferritin was already up 10 points! For those with low Ferritin, you know this is huge. I know this does not have a huge amount of iron like some brands, so I have upped the dosage to 2 per day with no side effects. I haven't had any digestive upset and take it together with the Raw D3. Also, I really think that it has improved my digestive issues. I haven't taken a Zantac in over 2 months. These also contain a probiotic/enzyme blend and I think the combination really helps! I really love that the Vitamin Code (Garden of Life) brand is whole food based. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a gentle iron. Just make sure that you give it time as it doesn't have as much iron as some of the other brands, but I think if you stick with it, it should pay off
