Beware beware beware. This item which is good for human consumption came ina deplorable condition. The oil was about a quarter of the way gone because the container had been used by someone. There was no hermetic seal over the product under the cap. Someone had placed a piece of Saran Wrap over the opening and then just screwed the lid on. Very scary. I don't even really know what is in the jar. Could be anything. Even poison. Scary

(Personal-Experience-Freaking- Expert Here!!!) I think deep down, we all really know this...UGHðŸ˜' âGARDEN OF LIFE RAW EXTRA VIRGIN COCONUT OILâ ðŸ˜YEP...I FOUND THIS ONLINE AND READ REVIEWS FIRST. And though great reviews, I was put off by the inexpensive price. I was like, hhhmmm, inexpensive, hhhmmm...And so, I thought, it wouldn't REALLY work, but what the heck...I mean, I DID read the reviews, and this one was rated GOOD and so...OKAAAY, I'll try it..And now? ðŸ˜ðŸ¥¥I'M HOOKED FOR LIFE! âI buy this in bulk and have for 3 years now! âThis stuff is probably the: 'BEST ALL-AROUND BEAUTY PRODUCT' I'VE FOUND IN DECADES! ðŸ˜I literally have NEVER found a product that's basically an, 'ALL-IN-ONE' BEAUTY PRODUCT IN MY LIFE! ðŸ˜TRUTH: I really don't care what the ingredients say because: THE RESULTS I GET, NO MATTER WHAT I'M USING IT FOR, IS: ****ALWAYS 100% AMAZING!**** ðŸ˜Now, I include it in almost all of my beauty treatments because of the amazing results. I'm astounded that this fabulous product is multipurpose! ðŸ˜I use it for so many things and I want to share these because it's been my miracle cure for many things, and maybe it could be for you too! #1. HAIR DYE/ LIGHTENING/BLEACHING: I heavily saturate my hair for protection against my hair dye and my hair bleach which I use every 3 months. ***I LEAVE THE COCONUT OIL IN AND APPLY THE BLEACH OR DYE WITH IT ALL TOGETHER.*** ðŸ˜And WOW!... IT REALLY protects your hair from: *Dryness *Damaged Hair Ends *Less Hair-Fall *And, I think it helps keep the PH balance of your hair A LOT more stable while doing any type hair processing. ðŸ˜I noticed a MAJOR CHANGE when I used the oil with the bleach or dye. (I have a lot of hair, but it's fine and easily damaged. I've been using the oil with the bleach/dye for about a year, and my hair is as healthy as it was in high-school and I'm 45 years old! Just check out the picture, but don't judge that I have no makeup on ðŸ˜³!) ðŸ˜All this healthy hair from this 1 inexpensive product! ðŸ˜No matter how I've used it, it's NEVER interfered with anything I've used/mixed it with. I mean, EVEN HAIR BLEACH! #2. DEEP CONDITIONING HAIR MASK: In the microwave, I warm 2TBSP. of the oil for about 25-30 seconds. (My hair length is shoulder length. This way, you can get an idea of how much to use to saturate your hair.) *When the oil has all turned to liquid from the microwave, I heavily cover my hair with it and massage my head. I pay special attention to the scalp and ends, and AAAHHH!...This part feels so good and smells so good! ðŸ¥¥ðŸŒ´COCONUT HEAVEN!ðŸŒ´ðŸ¥¥ *PERSONAL PREFERENCE... After that, I run a wide-tooth comb through my hair; again ensuring the oil has completely covered all of my hair. (My hair is super thick, but has fine strands and it's curly. If you're hair is like mine, I think this is the best way for you to proceed.. And so, I comb my saturated hair into separate parts and then take those separated parts and gently make a twist and pin it to the scalp with small claw clamps. *(AliExpress has the best-priced hair claw clamps. I think their small metal claw clamps are the absolute best and they last a lot longer than the plastic ones.) *After this is done, I then wrap it up in a shower cap or something like a garbage bag, whatever, and then I leave it on for day or so. *TIP: Make sure that you have a really good plastic hair wrap like DRY DIVAS because the oil DRIPS A LOT...A LOOOOOOTTTT. *It's very easy to wash it out and because it's all-natural-organic, it won't interfere with any shampooor conditioner either. ðŸ˜Sometimes I also mix the oil with my favorite hair masks and just chill for the day smelling g that fabulously wonderful true coconut scent! ðŸ˜BYE-BYE DANDRUFF! MIRACLE STUFF! My husband had terrible dandruff when we met. After a little over a year of casual use of this coconut oil in his hair: HE LITERALLY DOES NOT HAVE ANY DANDRUFF ANYMORE! I don't even have to but him dandruff shampoo! ***WARNING:DO NOT DO THIS NEXT STEP AT ALL IF YOU ARE PRONE TO ACNE!!!!!*** #3. FACIALS WITH THIS COCONUT OIL: My Bi-weekly Dermalogica Facials: I end my facials with a gold collagen-stimulating vibrating massager, (AliExpress), and this coconut oil. I DO get pimples. But I have NEVER had a bad reaction to this oil. My skin is VERY sensitive and I have many allergic reactions that cause rashes and pimples...very sensitive. And yet, I leave this on my face overnight for the benefits mentioned below and I'm fine. I do not break out. We purchased this mostly for cosmetic reasons

Let me preface this review with this statement: We didn't purchase this for cooking. We purchased this solely for cosmetic reasons. With that being said ... my review is mostly about the cosmetic side of things. First off, I expected it to smell better. I quickly learned that products that have coconut oil as an ingredient are enhanced with extra fragrance for sale appeal. Don't expect the wonderful fragrance of a pina colada or your favorite spa oils because this isn't that. This is raw organic coconut oil in its pure form (after extraction and preservation). This is the oil part, not the water (usually referred to as milk which for the life of me I don't know why people call it milk when it doesn't look, taste or feel like milk. But I digress). We use this as a skin moisturizer, hair moisturizer, and conditioner. We use this in combination with other natural conditioning oils for our skin, nails, and hair or in conjunction with store-bought beauty products. Either way, it's a win-win. It seems greasy at first but once you get it massaged into your hair or skin you are left softness and manageability that promotes healthy growth and conditioning. Does it taste? Yes, I did give it a whirl. It's not bad. It's oil ... so it tastes like oil but with a coconut flavoring. It's not overpowering. It's a mild-tasting oil. We will purchase another jar for cooking to test that out. I'll let you know how that works out. A special note to those who have sensitive skin or any dermatitis condition. This oil soothes mine. When mine flares up and becomes an itchy, burning, inflamed hot mess, this helps to calm it. When I am inflamed I use this alone without adding any other oils to it unless it's pure Vitamin E. I use this as a pre-treatment to get it my skin to calm down before moisturizing with my usual concoction. I am very happy with this because it doesn't clog my pores and it doesn't irritate my extra-sensitive skin and it soothes it when I need it. Will we purchase it again? At this point, yes. We will

Good quality

Good quality coconut oil. Use for cooking and I mix it with essential oils and apply to skin. Use it on my dogs as well. If they have an irritation or scratching at thier ears or anywhere I take some coconut oil and rub it into the area and the itching stops. I put a small amount into thier food too. They like the taste. Sometimes I rub it all over thier body and it makes thier skin sosoft. They love it

Garden of Life Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is a top rate product. It is a high quality coconut oil and extremely economical: you get your money''s worth. It is also extremely flavorful with no sugar content. A supermarket brand I tried was quite inferior to this product. Benefits: great appetite controller and extremely beneficial to the prostate. Anyone with an enlarged prostate should try combining this product (a teaspoon twice a day) with a good beta sitosterol supplement, along with a saw palmetto/pygeum complex. Add selenium as a guard against cancer, and horsetail herb as a bladder relaxant, and you can turn off the TV and radio commercials about various prostate formulas

Good but.

It's good but its not as solid as the very same brand as I usually buy from another famous company. Its solid form is more runny as I leave it in the cabinet. I think I will go back to the other company next order

This is the BEST QUALITY I have Ever Found!

I have tried numerous Coconut Oils & this one is by far the MOST EXCELLENT Quality I have found. Not only has it outperformed in use of my food consumption, but it also does miraculous wonders for my skin on my elbows, which are always getting raw & all rough from using one of them so much due to my past neck & back being broken & I have trouble moving around

1.SKIN LOTION: Use it to put it all over my body. 2.BRAIN HEALTH: Drink a spoon a day for my old brain. 3.OIL PULLING: At bedtime use it to deep cleanse my teeth & gums by gargling vigorously for 15-20 mins

The BEST

Wonderful product that I always keep in stock! I use it on my face as a moisturizer as it also helps with acne redness, put it in my coffee with Silk Almond Creamer as a healthy addition to my diet, slather it on protein bars for an extra kick of flavor, use it on cuts as they heal to reduce scarring, put it on sensitive areas after shaving to reduce the chance of red angry bumps, and it's also a great lubricant for, um, whatever

Coconut is very beneficial. You can use it in place of other oils and butter and you can even use it to regrow your tooth enamel. It kills off certain bacteria that like to eat your teeth and make cavities. I always brush, but this helps to regrow the enamel. You swish in your mouth 10 to 20 minutes and then spit out and brush as normal. You end up having a really fresh clean mouth and your teeth too become whiter. Wish we had coconuts were I live
